🎊 A special baby shower! 🎊

Our program was so happy to come together and organize a baby shower for our incredible program coordinator, Olivia! Our program would not be where it is today without her dedication, support, and all that she does for our residents and faculty. ❤️💛

We are so grateful for everything she brings to our PM&R family and we’re thrilled to celebrate this exciting new chapter with her and her husband. Wishing them both the very best as they prepare to welcome their little one! 👶🏻

🌟 Minnesota Mondays are back! 🌟

We are starting up our Minnesota Mondays this year and we would love for you to join us!

What are Minnesota Mondays? 🤔
They are casual virtual meet-and-greets where you can hang out with our residents, ask your questions, and get an inside look at our program beyond what you’ll find on a website. We will talk about:
✔️ Resident culture
✔️ Wellness & support
✔️ What we love about our program
✔️ And everything in between!

We have two sessions this year so please join us for either or even both sessions if you wish! They are projected to be about an hour long each.
- Monday, August 31st, 2026 @ 7 PM CST
- Monday, September 14th, 2026 @ 7 PM CST

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Marcus Babcock as our new Chief Resident! 🎉

Selected by his peers, Dr. Babcock will serve alongside Dr. Meta Williams in leading our residency program this academic year. We are excited to see his leadership, dedication, and the positive impact he will have on our residents and program. 🌟

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Aaron Greenblat for his outstanding leadership, hard work, and service as Chief Resident over the past year. While we will certainly miss him in this role, we are thrilled that he will be staying local as an attending physiatrist at the University of Minnesota. Congratulations and thank you for everything you’ve done for our program! 👏🏻

☀️ Summer Sports Coverages 2026 ☀️

Our residents have had an exciting June and July providing sports medical coverage at several incredible events across the country!

This summer, our residents had the opportunity to serve as part of the medical team at:
 🏅 Special Olympics USA – Minneapolis, MN 🇺🇸 National Veterans Golden Age Games – Tampa, FL ♿ National Veterans Wheelchair Games – Detroit, MI ⚽ Target USA Cup – Blaine, MN

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of a residency program that provides opportunities for us to travel and give back to athletes of all abilities.

🎓 Congratulations to the University of Minnesota PM&R Residency Class of 2026! 🎉

Over the past four years, the bonds formed within this class have transformed colleagues into family. They will always be remembered for being hilarious, intelligent, and the kind of people who make every day in residency a little brighter.
