Link in bio. Siempre 23 is a group show made and curated in the memory of Selena Quintanilla, her legacy, and impact on the latino communities and wider world. This hispanic and latina women’s group show is an opportunity to uplift and celebrate emerging and upcoming artists who display excellence in the arts, dedication to their communities, and passion for their craft. Despite coming from an incredibly rich culture, well versed in multitudes of fine art and craft, Latina women are systematically and overwhelmingly underrepresented throughout arts institutions. While the American landscape closes in on its most vulnerable communities we must continue to celebrate and highlight the people and culture that have carried our country from its founding. by @gorillagripgallery
