Auckland Marathon 2025 🇳🇿 You are absolutely stunning, Auckland! I’ll never forget the feeling of running over the Harbour Bridge 🥹 It was such a beautiful moment to celebrate my fourth marathon in this incredible city 🥰 Didn’t hit the time I was aiming for, but still managed a 7-minute PB! Things went downhill around the 25th km when I started having stomach issues. Stopped at almost every bathroom I could find 😅 Switched to just water and eased up on the gels to survive. Hit the wall at 28km and it didn’t let go until 38km. When I finally saw the sky tower, it gave me life. Dug deep and finished strong until the last meters. Loved the whole experience of running in Auckland! I wasn’t expecting so many people to come out and cheer despite the hot, sunny morning 🥵 Everyone was just so genuinely kind and encouraging 🥹 Alsoooo I’m one hella lucky girl to have a boyfriend who just say yes to all my craziness. I started wondering why am I even doing this and remembered I was the one who said we should sign up for this 😅 Congratulations on your PB babe @hadryszbyszek I’m soo grateful to have you & I’m so happy doing life milestones together!! And last but not the least, thank you Lord for sustaining me the whole race! ❤️ It will get worse before it gets better 🫶 And that’s itt- finally off season for 2025!! 🥳 No more running muna, pls 😅 by @gorundonna
Finished Osaka Marathon with a new PB 4:29:15 🥳 So grateful to be one of the 34k runners who ran the #OsakaMarathon despite the cold, and rainy weather. It’s very challenging with the weather conditions and definitely not a flat course. We passed by 2-4 overpasses and ran throughout the Osaka streets. Km 1-18k Fun, and good vibes. Runners are ecstatic and a lot of locals went out to cheer us. I also like the views and scenery we passed on the course. Km 21-32k Rain and strong wind. I can’t feel my hands anymore as they were already frozen. It’s even hard to get gels in my running vest. Tough hill at 32k. Km 35-40k Hit the wall at 35k mark but still managed to push through and continue running. I didn’t want to walk as it’ll be colder. When I reached 37k mark, I checked my watch and see if I can still hit my target time, & when I learnt that it’s doable- I mentally pushed myself through pain. Km 42k - Finished with a grateful heart because I know I did my best 😭🤍 Things I learned on this race: 1. Marathon is a very humbling experience. No matter how well trained/fit you are, you will face challenges during the training and the run itself. It will never be easy. It’s always mental and if you don’t have grit and determination, you won’t succeed. 2. Running culture is very alive in Japan. You can see old people still joining races and even running faster than me 🤯 3. Push through the pain. Always. On the other side is growth 🤍 Arigatō Osaka for giving us a wonderful experience! The weather could be more forgiving but the hospitality and cheers of locals and volunteers made a warm atmosphere for us— runners. Ganbatte! “When I’m afraid, I put my trust in You.” Psalms 56:3 All glory to God! ✨ On the next one! by @gorundonna
LOUD AND PROUD /// . . I did it!! Finished my second marathon and first #WorldMajorMarathon with a Personal Best of 4:42:22 😭🏅Amazing race, amazing crowd, amazing route. Ran under the rain with 14°C, it was really cold. At 35KM, I hit the wall. Everything is painful but the loud cheers of people help me get through. At 41KM where we pass through the Brandenburg Gate, all the trainings and hardwork I put through came like a flashback. Everything is worth it. Everything is perfect. All for you Lord! 🙏 . . Amazing experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life ❤ Danke, Berlin! Now, on to the next one 🔜 . . #goRunDonna #Berlin42 #berlinlegend #BMWBerlinMarathon #berlinstrong #WorldMajorMarathon by @gorundonna

Melbourne Marathon 2026 4:27:07 Not the time I was gunning for, but a PB is a PB! 🥹✨ I was already suffering by the 25km mark.. way too early to be struggling, but that’s the marathon for you. No matter how many times you’ve done it, it’ll always find a way to humble you. I thought seeing Eliud on the course would be the highlight of this race, but turns out, it was the crowd who showed up. 🥹💗 So, so grateful to everyone who cheered us on and offered lollies when my body couldn’t stomach another gel. My first marathon in Australia, but definitely won’t be my last. 🇦🇺✨ Melb, you humbled me, surprised me, and gave me another story to tell. Time to move forward & dream onto the next one 🏃‍♀️ by @gorundonna

Loving all the installations. Really one of a kind ✨ Did I mention that race day piccies were free???? Hehe 🤝 One of the reasons this race is at the top of my faves is because running has allowed me to meet these strong girls who made this journey even more memorable 🥹💗 Moving abroad in your 30s can be daunting, but I’m so glad I took the leap. 🥹 How lucky am I to be surrounded by such strong women? 💗 My biggest cheerleader ✨❤️ @nikerunning giving us the most gorgeous medal evrrrrr 😍 Ready to dance the night away??? ✨ Let’s run it back again next year? 🙏 by @gorundonna
