Summer in England really surprised us this year, so many warm days, so much light, it made you want to leave the house without any real plan. I went back to the places that always lift my mood, discovered a few new corners too, and once again realised just how beautiful England can be. A lot of gratitude, a lot of small moments that stay with you for a long time. Arrecife. A capital that doesn’t feel like a capital at all, but more like a quiet pause between the light and the ocean. Narrow port streets, soft blues, warm wind, and that moment when you stop for a second because something about this place just settles in the right way. Honestly, I didn’t expect to find this kind of calm in a capital city. And yet, here it is. Have you ever come across unexpected, peaceful corners like this? 💙💛 Arrecife. Stolica, która wcale nie czuje się jak stolica, a bardziej jak spokojny przystanek między światłem a oceanem. Portowe uliczki, błękit, ciepły wiatr i ten moment, kiedy zatrzymujesz się na chwilę, bo coś w tym miejscu po prostu dobrze wybrzmiewa. Szczerze, nie wiedziałam, że w stolicy można jeszcze znaleźć taki spokój. A jednak tutaj to się dzieje. La Graciosa is a place that truly surprised us. Spots where nature still takes the lead are becoming harder to find, yet here that wildness is still completely real. There are no roads, just one small shop and a few simple places where you can try something local. There are very few residents, but plenty of warm smiles and a sense of calm. The whole island is part of the Parque Natural del Archipiélago Chinijo, which is why it has kept its raw, untouched character. It’s one of those places where you can genuinely escape from civilisation. Time feels slower here, and the island is explored only on foot, by bike, or with a licensed guide, always sticking to the marked paths. We chose bikes, and it was the perfect decision. I’d happily do this trip all over again. 🩵 La Graciosa to wyspa, która naprawdę nas zaskoczyła. Miejsca, gdzie natura wciąż dowodzi, spotyka się już coraz rzadziej, a tutaj ta dzikość jest wciąż prawdziwa. Nie ma dróg, ma jeden mały sklepik i kilka prostych miejsc, gdzie można zjeść coś lokalnego. Lokalnych mieszkańców jest naprawdę mało, ale za to są uśmiechy i spokój. Całość należy do Parque Natural del Archipiélago Chinijo, dzięki czemu wyspa zachowała swój surowy, nieoswojony charakter. To jedno z tych miejsc, gdzie naprawdę można uciec od cywilizacji. Czas jakby się tu zatrzymał, a wyspę zwiedza się wyłącznie pieszo, na rowerze lub z licencjonowanym przewodnikiem, trzymając się tylko wyznaczonych szlaków. There’s something special about the south of France out of season, quiet streets, soft light, and that gentle warmth you forget you’ve been craving. Beaulieu‑sur‑Mer won me over with its mix of turquoise water and those beautiful cliffs rising behind the town. It’s tiny, bright, pretty, and the kind of place where you actually end up chatting to locals.
