Dear Shouters,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that Go Shout Love is taking an indefinite hiatus from operations, effective today.

We've always strived to be a lean organization, meticulously stewarding sales proceeds and donations entrusted to us for the greatest impact on the families we serve. However, the current economic climate necessitates a difficult decision: our product-based model is no longer sustainable.

💛 To our monthly subscribers:

We are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support. You've been the foundation that propelled our team forward, allowing us to champion so many families. We hope every shirt you received fostered a sense of connection and pride. Your subscriptions have been canceled, effective today.

💛 To those who made it happen:

I extend my deepest gratitude to team members Paige Muller and Seth Carnell, and Board Members Amy Gossen, Kyle Sloan, and Eric Granger. Their dedication to excellence in celebrating families and the joy of working alongside them has been truly remarkable. And to Ron Wallace and the leadership of Russell Cellular, we wouldn’t have made it this far without your support. Thank you!

Thank you for entrusting us with your journeys. Your willingness to share your families' stories with authenticity and vulnerability to celebrate your children has been a privilege to witness.

What's next? The short answer: we're unsure. The Board of Directors will be exploring future possibilities.

What we know:

Since 2014, we've proudly introduced 120 children on rare medical journeys to the world, raising their voices and hopefully allowing their families to feel seen, supported, and loved more deeply through our storytelling and over $463,000 in financial assistance. This is a significant achievement, and it's all thanks to you!
In closing, leading this mission for the past six years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am immensely grateful to everyone who shared, purchased, and donated, enabling us to shout love for so many families on rare medical journeys.

We’re in the final hours of shouting love for Miss Ellie!🎉

If you’re new here, Ellie is a bundle of silliness, determination, and resilience. She shares her home with her loving parents, Taylor and Wakine, and her adorable little brother, Ben. Ellie's passions include dancing, swimming, and horseback riding.

Throughout May, we've been rallying behind Ellie, showering her with love to shed light on her rare medical journey battling Rhobtb2 syndrome. We're also stepping up to provide financial support for her therapy needs, like hippotherapy and swim therapy, which unfortunately aren't covered by insurance.

Let's make some noise, Shouters! It's time to show Ellie the strength of our support! 📢💕

Even on her unique medical journey, Ellie is still just a kid who wants to have fun.

While others might be attending dance classes or trying out for sports, Ellie’s activities double as her therapies.

Due to her diagnosis, even minor bumps can significantly impact her health.

Ellie’s recent favorites have been aqua therapy and hippotherapy! These are safe activities for her, and they work wonders for her balance, stamina, and low muscle tone.

You can see how she lights up every time she gets on her horse!

Till the end of the month, every purchase will contribute to the costs of Ellie’s hippotherapy and swim therapy, which are not covered by insurance.

Rhobtb2 syndrome is an extremely rare genetic condition, with only 20 known cases worldwide. A quick Google search reveals that those living with Rhobtb2 syndrome may never speak, walk, or eat by mouth. They often face severe intellectual disabilities and movement disorders, including painful dystonia.

While epilepsy is common in many cases, our friend Ellie’s situation is unusual; she has only experienced three seizures. Nonetheless, she requires ongoing care and attention.

To help manage her condition, Ellie has found great joy in aqua therapy and hippotherapy. These safe activities significantly improve her balance, stamina, and muscle tone.

This girl LOVES school!✏️🍎

On an average week, you can find Ellie at school, Monday through Thursday, where she loves entertaining her classmates and receives most of her services like speech therapy, OT, and PT. With a zest for learning and a heart full of wonder, Ellie embraces every opportunity to explore the world around her. From roaming around the yard with her brother to visits to the zoo, every moment is an opportunity for Ellie to revel in the joy of childhood.

“Literally every second of every day, I worry that she will bump her head the wrong way. She lost so much the last time and with this diagnosis, we don’t really know whether she will progress, stay the same, or regress. We really lean on the other parents in the Facebook group.”

Ellie was diagnosed with Rhobtb2 syndrome shortly after her second birthday. While having a name for her condition brought some clarity to her development, it left many questions about her future unanswered. Since Rhobtb2 syndrome was only discovered in 2018, there is still limited literature available. To navigate this uncertainty, Ellie’s family relies on the support system they found in a Facebook group of others who have a loved one on a similar journey.
