WHY IS CARBON STEEL THE BEST???
It allows you to make great meals in wild places.
Because:
☁️ It’s lighter than cast iron, tougher than aluminum.
👍There’s no toxic coating to wear off.
🔥 It performs on any heat source.
😍 It’s simple to care for.
🕰️It’s designed to last a lifetime.
And GOSO pans have an amazing removable handle

WHY GOSO EXISTS. If you've ever wondered who's behind GOSO, it's me, Brent. I started GOSO because I was super frustrated with the the options for people that loved to cook and love to camp. I didn't want coated cookware, flimsy pans and handles that I kept having to replace after easily destroying. I also knew that cast iron pans were annoying to lug around everywhere. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I created something better than what was currently on the market and this is The Everywhere Pan.

LIFE’S HARD. CLEANING CARBON STEEL ISN’T.

A super easy and effective way to clean your pans is to deglaze them with water and then wipe out the pan with a paper towel. This works great for regular cleanup, but make sure your pan is not ripping hot or your water is not freezing cold.

WHEN THINGS DON’T GO AS PLANNED, THE EASIEST THING TO DO IS CHANGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Although this wasn’t the crispy skin chicken thigh of my dreams, it was a fantastic meal. Good food, made simply, in a beautiful place, is really hard to beat. Also, chicken fat and salt is delicious, so that helps.

HOW TO CLEAN CARBON STEEL, PT1.
Let’s be honest, sometimes things get stuck to your pan. We can’t all be perfect, right?

Using a chainmail scrubber is one of the easiest ways to get anything off your pans.

OH MY, WHAT AN END TO AN EPIC WEEKEND!
Day 3 was a little bit colder and a little bit cozier, but man, our stomachs were full and our hearts were warm!!
The deepest gratitude goes out to everyone that helped make this weekend possible: all the presenters, all of the attendees, all the volunteers, and most especially my co-organizers @loraxgirl and @essworden !!!

THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT ONLY MAKE SENSE ON A SMALL SCALE.
Hand signing each order is definitely one of those things.
Approximately, the first 1500 orders shipped out just like this. Each one hand wrapped and signed. It’s really nice to know that humans are opening these packages and seeing that there’s a real human on the other side, behind GOSO. If we don’t have humanity in cooking food in the outdoors, what do we have left??
