Some of the bluest water I’ve seen is in Havasupai 🙌🏽

We had the opportunity to stay 4 days in what felt like another world. Some gnarly hikes, some beautiful wildlife, iconic waterfalls and lots of good memories. Easily one of my top 5 most favorite adventures, and the best people to experience it with 💯

Still can’t believe this place is real. This backpacking trip has officially ruined normal vacations for me. 45 miles, 4 days and worth every step. Most people will never see california like this but here’s a little glimpse into this hidden gem called the Rae Lakes Loop in Kings Canyon. Full youtube version coming soon

I have always wanted to go on a backpacking trip, and the opportunity is finally here. Doing the Rae Lakes loop in Kings Canyon. 4 days and 3 nights in the backcountry with only the items I can fit in a pack. And then I have 2 days to rest and I’m right back to it. Hidden waterfall hikes should be your priority for the summer, because it won’t hit the same WHEN THERE’S NO VISIBILITY! 🌲💧

We hiked this as a way to train for an upcoming backpacking trip in Kings Canyon, and it gave us the challenge we were after.

The Switzer Falls & Ken Burton Loop is one of the most rugged and rewarding Southern California hikes in the Angeles National Forest. From creek crossings and steep canyon climbs to panoramic ridge views and hidden backcountry trails, this loop is not for the unprepared — but that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.

Expect overgrown sections, serious elevation gain, and nonstop adventure through some of the wildest terrain near Los Angeles. Bring extra water, offline maps, trekking poles, and a sense of adventure. Keep an eye out for deer, hawks, and even rattlesnakes along the trail 🥾⛰️

May 25 - I decide to try trail running
June 10 - I hear the loudest and clearest voice telling me to put God first in everything I do.
July 20 - I successfully run my first 10k trail race

Grateful to the most high for everything that he continues to show me daily about surpassing limitations and pushing myself further each time. Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better. 🤲🏽

2022 I decided to get a glimpse into the digital nomad lifestyle, being able to work anywhere there’s wifi. I decided to drive up to portland and explore a lot of the nature it’s known for and see what the city life was about. Thankful for my community of friends up there who helped show me around, share experiences, and welcome me into their spaces. Many good moments shared, reflection, and growth.

It took me out of my comfort zone, and helped me shape new ways of looking at life. Truly placing faith in the universe to have your back, and know what’s best for you isn’t always the easiest, but this experience has proved I am very blessed and looked after by the most high. 🙏🏽 by @gotchubruh
