WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE?
🥘🫶🥘
I'm in need of kitchen inspiration during this far too long a flare.🫠
Soups are always a winner... but I want to hear about anything yummy that makes your tummy happy.
✨️BONUS POINTS✨️ - if it's a family heirloom recipe... yes, l'd also like the back story.
K, thanks, bye. ❤️‍🩹 by @goth_korgi

🏴‍☠️🦜☠️ Not all treasures are silver and gold, mate.

[Once again, ask not why it takes me almost a year to post photos from the 2025 @centralcoastrenaissancefest
🫠
...instead, ask where I can procure a time machine that I can go back to 2020 and retrieve the mass majority of my braincells that seem to have fallen out like breadcrumbs when we moved away from SoCal...]

...anyway! 🙈🫶
Here are some moments from the RenFaire in San Luis Obispo last year, including our annual post-faire pilgrimage to none other than @oldjuanscantina

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again this year! (aka in 4 days!!!!😅😂🤣)

And dagnabbit... I will finally get to drink a mead with friends this time! 🍻🤍

Beyond thrilled to debut my Queen Bee costume and hand out my hand-made Bee Blessings! 🌻🍯
I, for one, am so excited about trinket trading becoming a thing! ✨️
If you got one of my little bobbles, please know I pour my heart into making a unique love filled little chachki for every soul I meet!🥰

Isn't my hubby's acorn helmet awesome?!
He made it the night before so he could be Captain Acorn of the Royal Guard. 🌰⚔️

I'm looking so forward to seeing everyone again this year! (aka next week!😅😂🤣)

And dagnabbit... I will finally get to drink a mead with friends this time! 🍻🤍

🫖We invite you to join us for our annual Mothers Day Tea on Saturday, May 9th, 2026. 💐
Doors will open at 11:00am
Tea Service begins promptly at 11:20am

🕰We kindly request that you not be 'fashionably late'. Rather, do be tea-fashionable in some fancy attire!👗👒

Though getting dolled up is not required, it is highly encouraged to make the whole experience all the more special and memorable!
🎩👔(Gentlemen, don't be shy! Dig out that fancy tie!)

There will be a Photo-op! 📸

👉👉👉🎁We will have prizes for Best Dressed, Best Hat, Best Matched Mommy & Me, as well as raffle items. 🎟

💝This fundraiser is dear to our hearts as it allows us to dote on, not only the mothers (and those who are like-a-mother) in our parish, but also open our arms to our community to celebrate the special women in our beloved Santa Maria.

💀💜🕯☦️🕯💜💀
Although we aren't sure where the idea originally came from, we have a tradition in our home that we live the evenings of Holy Week by only candlelight.
It has become something we look forward to as a time of focus and intention in all our actions.
It is also quite refreshing in a way...though sometimes it is hard when you realize just how much we lean on the modern conveniences of illumination at the flick of a switch.
So, as the sun went down this evening, we lit the first candle of our last week of Great and Holy Lent... Pascha (Orthodox Easter) is finally in reach as the journey to the cross nears it's end.
I'll admit, it has been an especially difficult Lent for me, due to my on-going health frustrations and the enemy clearly playing hardball...but I am grateful that the light at the end of the tunnel is not so distant and burns ever constant.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner, and help me to struggle.
Blessed Holy Week to my Orthodox brothers and sisters.
And to all others who call Christ, Lord... He is Risen!
