Y’all think it’s just a book.But you have to understand, I’ve spent 32 years starting and stopping things.So many ideas.So many plans.So many dreams.At some point, it became heartbreaking for the people closest to me. The people who actually believed in me.I became “the dreamer.”The guy with big ideas, but not enough follow-through for people to ever see those ideas become reality.And we can get upset when people stop pouring into us.We can get upset when people stop believing.But after I woke up and sobered up, I had to be honest with myself.A lot of that was self-inflicted.People weren’t doubting my potential.They were doubting my execution.So standing here holding this book means more than most people realize.It gives my family something tangible.Something they can hold in their hands and say:“We didn’t just believe in him.We believed in him, and here is the proof.”And the crazy part?This isn’t some 500-page masterpiece.It’s a short book.It’s double-spaced.There are journal pages in the back.I literally had to stretch to hit the page minimum for a paperback on Amazon.Even this was a stretch.But I stretched.I executed.I finished.And for someone who spent years leaving things unfinished, that means everything.More than that, I’m grateful.Grateful to wake up and realize that God never left my side.He was just waiting for me to return to the path He called me to walk.To know I haven’t been left alone through all of this is one of the most humbling feelings I have ever experienced.I am so very thankful for my family, my friends, my faith, and my God, who has kept me safe and alive long enough to experience this moment right here.I’m proud of myself.I’m grateful for Ray, who stood beside me through this process.I’m grateful for my friends.My family.And even the strangers who picked up a copy and took the time to send me feedback.Thank you.This book may be small.But for me, it represents something huge.Proof that I can finish what I start.— Gabriel Arreseigor | GoTimeGabeIt’s GoTime 🔒#GoTimeGabe #PinpointPivotPursue #RebuildingInRealTime #FaithfulToTheProcess #AuthorJourney by @gotimegabe
