The thing that made me fall in love with this music . . . the thing that drives me to dig, to practice, to obsess, and to break down speakers and tables at 3:30 in the morning . . . is chasing those magical nights where it just… happens.The older you get, the more you realize how rare those nights are, and the more you cherish them. The funny thing is, you usually don’t know it’s happening while you’re in it. It’s only later, when you look back, that you realize it was one of those nights where everything changed.You can plan the party. Set the lineup. Decorate the venue. Dial in the sound. Send the invites…But every once in a while, everything comes together in a way you never could have planned, and the night becomes something more.This night was the spark . . . Watching this video now and seeing all the faces . . . some I barely knew then, some I hadn’t even met yet . . . who are now such a huge part of my life and this scene…I’m unbelievably grateful for this rebirth in music. I honestly thought this dream was behind me when I became a father of three and moved across the country.To be embraced by this scene, to be part of its growth, and to find genuine friendships and community through music… it’s a gift I’ll never be able to fully put into words.Thank you 🙏📹 @planetdoone by @gots2be
