$Zach Hill & Lucas Abela unveil ‘Bag of Max Bag of Cass’ [WARP414] – the debut album arriving 31 October 2025. The joint work of Death Grips’ producer & drummer Zach Hill and experimental glass improviser Lucas Abela comprises vast, textured fields. With ‘Bag of Max Bag of Cass’, noise becomes a sonic environment of focus and intensity. For all its volatility, the music holds an unlikely stillness. Hill’s rhythms refract against Abela’s sustained, splintered overtones, forming a labyrinthine architecture ever ready to ensnare you. Available for pre-order across limited digital and physical formats, including vinyl. Hear the first track, ‘Combat Boxes’ alongside a new video. by @gottagoogle$
