Feeding boys is not for the weak. It’ll all be gone by Friday.

Who knew the secret to a quiet house was heavy machinery in the backyard?

Raising boys is just one long series of…
WHY?!

Just when you think you’ve figured out one stage, they go and change the rules on you.

Every. Single. Day.

Boy moms, please tell me it’s not just my house.

September was supposed to be the reset.

Kids back in school. Back to routines. Back to workouts. Back to eating better. Back to taking care of ourselves…

And somehow September is basically over.

Maybe we don’t need to keep “getting back on track.”

Maybe we just need to get back to the little things that make us feel like ourselves again.

No perfect routine required.

Boy moms… you KNOW.

They’ll come home covered in dirt, share drinks with their friends, eat something questionable… and yet look at you like HOW DARE YOU have the audacity to ask, “Did you wash your hands?”

We’re about 5 weeks into school, so I know germs are coming.

This is when I get a little more intentional about the things I can control — sleep, hydration, movement, and making sure everyone is actually taking their vitamins consistently.

Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated.

Because between football, baseball, school and everything else… we’ve got enough chaos over here. I don’t need germs adding themselves to the calendar.

The daily question that may actually break me.

Bonus points when somebody has practice at 5:30pm.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who is completely OVER figuring out what’s for dinner every. single. night. 🙋🏼‍♀️

Welcome to fall sports. 🏈⚾️

I was talking to another mom the other day and we decided…

We honestly don’t know which is worse.

Summer — when there’s no routine, every week is different, camps are all over the place and nobody knows what day it is.

OR…

Back to school — when we finally get our routine back … except now we’re juggling school, homework, football, baseball, practices and dinner.

So apparently the choices are:

No routine chaos.
Or scheduled chaos.

Anyone else trying to find their groove again?
