😂🍁 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄. 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒. 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐆𝐍. 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐘𝐄𝐒, 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐈! 😎💚

So I got home today and found this beautiful artwork from my daughter. Apparently, she’s already getting ready for Halloween! 😂❤️

Now, since we’re talking about authenticity, let me clear something up. 😁

YES, some of us use AI to design our campaign flyers! 😂

Not everyone has the luxury of a well-connected boys’ club, a big campaign budget, or a team of professional designers working behind the scenes.

Some of us are working with what we have, learning along the way, knocking on doors, listening to residents, and doing our best to get our message out.

And last time I checked, AI doesn’t knock on doors, shake hands, listen to residents’ concerns, or show up for community conversations. PEOPLE DO! 💯

To everyone who has supported my campaign, whether through encouragement, volunteering, displaying a lawn sign, sharing a post, or simply having an honest conversation with me, THANK YOU! Your support means more than you know. 🙏💚

And to those who haven’t supported my campaign yet, my door remains open. There’s always room for more hands, more ideas, and more conversations. 😁

In the meantime,𝐈’𝐦 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐀𝐈 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! 🤣🤣

After all, it works overtime, doesn’t complain, and hasn’t requested a salary increase! 😂💻

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭.

And as for my daughter’s masterpiece? That one is 100% handmade, proudly displayed, and absolutely priceless! ❤️

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍁

𝟐𝟑 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒.

On September 17, I publicly raised concerns with Minister Sam Oosterhoff after speaking with migrant agricultural workers here in Niagara.

They shared troubling experiences involving unsafe roads, racial harassment, difficult working and living conditions, and fear of retaliation for speaking up.

I asked the Minister what concrete steps his ministry would take to protect these workers and whether he would commit to meeting with them and their advocates.

As of October 10, I have not received a response to my public request.

These workers contribute to Ontario’s agricultural economy. Their safety, dignity, and well-being deserve serious attention.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about people.

Minister, the question still stands. What actions can these workers expect, and when?

Their voices matter. 💚

Why did so many basements flood in Ward 5? Let’s look at the engineering. 🎥👇

Between July 21 and August 2, St. Catharines experienced more than 300 mm of rainfall across three extraordinary storms, overwhelming drainage and wastewater infrastructure throughout the city.

According to the City’s 2025 Asset Management Plan, approximately 75% of its wastewater collection system consists of combined or partially combined sewers. During extreme rainfall, these systems can become overwhelmed, increasing the risk of sewer backups and flooding.

For families across Grantham, the consequences were devastating.

The question now is: How do we reduce the risk of this happening again?

Dunsin Fakorede brings a background in mechanical engineering and senior project management, with over $8 million in delivered capital projects. His infrastructure priorities include evidence-based upgrades, proactive maintenance, better drainage planning, and greater accountability for infrastructure investments.

Because protecting our neighbourhoods requires more than temporary fixes. It requires long-term planning backed by engineering evidence.

Today, on my birthday, I’ve been reflecting on how much this campaign journey has meant to me.

From meeting people who are putting themselves forward to serve our city, to conversations with residents at their doors, to walking the streets of Ward 5 delivering flyers and introducing myself one household at a time — every part of this journey has reminded me why I stepped forward.

This campaign has never just been about signs, flyers or election day.

It has been about people.

Listening. Learning. Showing up. Having conversations. And understanding what residents want to see from the people who represent them.

As I celebrate another year of life, I’m grateful for every door that has opened, every conversation, every handshake, every word of encouragement and every opportunity to better understand our community.

Another year of life. An even greater commitment to service.
