Behind the design: Black Panther T’Challa’s Pride

The initial idea was to create a skate sneaker then later converted to a lifestyle sneaker. The concept was given by the team as an assignment during my interview at @thesouledstore . This design is executed so well and is currently live on the website. Go grab a pair if you like em! 😃🫶🏽

Meet Mr Abdul Rehman, who is a footwear designer, my mentor and a motivator from day 1 in Chennai. But me and my batch were truly heartbroken when we came to know that Rehman sir got transferred to Hyderabad campus in (2018-19).
He is the man who taught us to sketch a shoe, design and pattern making. If I would have seriously took design as a career option, it is only because of this man right here!
So recently we met after long time and I took him to show the summer collection in Westside stores and he was so happy to see the entire footwear range. Surprisingly he had no idea that I’m gifting him a pair that I designed and joy he had in his face was so real. I’m really thankful to you @rehandcd sir and I think this is the perfect gift I can give you for building me who I am right now! ❤️😃 I’m so glad that you loved them.
