To coincide with our Lansdown Exhibition of works by our current Printmaker Members, we are hosting a Young Person's evening of Print.

Just a couple of hours to come and have a play with with print and chat to members about the Gloucestershire Printmaking coop.
We recognise how important our facility is and want to preserve it's presence in Stroud for Printmaking generations to come.

Totally informal, drop in, bring a group if you wish, the exhibition will be on.

- Art teachers? - A nice way to kick off looking at the work of others - whilst having a play with print too?

DM us if you know you want to bring a group.

We have been a bit quiet on the Instagram front due to a rather devastating flood here at GPC.

We will soon be fully operational but in the meantime - didn't want you all to forget we have our next exhibition to celebrate our 20 years of providing a coperative printmaking studio for Artists Printmakers of Gloucestershire & beyond.

We hope you will join us through the week and you are invited to our opening even on Tuesday 6-9pm for drinks & an informal Q&A with some of our members.

See you there!

Lots of BRILLIANT Courses coming up in September including these 3.

1. Photogravure with Martyn Grimmer
19th/20th September 10-4pm £190

Super excited for this technique to be explored in our GPC studios - this will book up FAST!
innovative process that uses polymer & steel backed plates with a light sensitive coating to produce remarkably rich tonal and linear intaglio prints, similar to the quality achieved in 19th century photogravure prints.

2. Silk Screen Monotype with Siobáin
Drury Sunday 6th September 10-4pm £90

1 day, fast and furious fun with this immediate painterly process. This w/shop is suitable for complete beginners or creatives who would like to extend their practice.

3. Breakdown Screen Printing with Jeanette Newell Saturday 5th September £90 10-4pm

Want to try something new with your fabric print process? Experimental, slightlyunpredictable fun with organic process for creating unique prints on fabric and paper. It produces vibrant colours, rich textures and beautifully distressed marks.
