In 2017 @nickfig_music and I booked our first show in New Orleans with @honeysoundsystem . That event led us here to booking events in Chicago. My first day as a Chicago resident, I went to lunch with Jason Kindig, who was in town playing Queen with Honey. We kept in touch all throughout the pandemic, and I’ve always admired his DJ career and his energy. Cut his teeth in Detroit and Chicago, Cali to NY based, Berghain regular and has played with some absolute legends in the industry. It’s been years since we’ve seen each other, so there is no better way for @render_chicago to end the year and wish everyone a Happy Holidays than to throw our last Thursday night party of the year with @jkendig , @harrycross_chicago and myself. This will also be my first time playing for @render_chicago , and my @spybar debut. Really looking to take the energy we received through Render this year and expand that into 2025. taken in Spybar by @gpmonson

Rest easy, Dom! @joytheater was our special home in New Orleans and the music industry. Life took you away too soon. You were one of the great ones, friend!#dominicriveraforever by @gpmonson
