the stand 1994 (miniseries) is probably my favorite piece of media to date and has been since i was in the 8th grade. its an apocalyptic horror/thriller that takes place in a world where a governmental virus breaks out and starts killing millions of citizens by the masses, but some are immune to it and scientists cant make sense of it. the ones who are left, strangers, from across the country are brought together by their dreams where they all see the same old woman, mother abigail. but not all who are immune are visited by her. others are visited and drawn in by a strange man named 'randall flag' who is actually satan himself disguised as a man, and sometimes a crow. his crowd brings death and chaos. it's a battle between good and evil. the characters in this movie are the fuckin coolest and most well written characters i have ever seen i love each and every single one of them. the story drives you in emotionally. this piece of media means so much to me i don't think anything else will ever compare by @gr3asydabrig69
