Started the process of prepping the frame. This “surface conditioner” tool from Harbor Freight made pretty quick work of the flat areas. The areas I cannot get to will take more time. by @gr8dain

Took off the hood, windshield, fenders and grill, steering box, radiator, then the tub. Now I can start prepping the frame. I still need to remove the motor. by @gr8dain

Heard that McDonald’s brought back the fried pies for July 4th. Stopped in to check. Yep. And yes, it was lava hot. The memories flooded back. Worth $1.99. Would definitely recommend! by @gr8dain

With the welding help from Kevin Kirwin, i replaced the stock CJ shackle mounts and conversion shackles in the front of the Scrambler to HD mounts and boomerang shackles from Barnes 4WD. YJ front Leaf Springs are next so that the shackle angle is better. by @gr8dain

Took the Willys out for a little spin tonight but did not make it far. The float got stuck again and flooded the motor. Time to fiddle with it again. by @gr8dain

Took the passenger tube fender completely off to reattach it after it broke free on my last wheeling trip. Bonus is that the bumper and the grill align better now. by @gr8dain
