full circle work moment ✨ back in the day, i was on the mgmt team for @therevivalists and last wknd, i booked these two for an intimate performance presented by @jackdaniels_us before their show @saltshedchicago. watching their careers evolve over the years and having the opp to work together again in a different capacity is so special and just the reminder i needed of how incredible the journey can be in this industry. see slide 2 from the archives - 2015 (!) promo for @relixmag. tysm @thedavidshaw and @zackfeinberg and the whole dang revs crew 🫶🏼 by @grace.note

i’m not really a pop girly but @lorde will always have a special place in my heart. her song royals was at peak popularity when my brother scott died in 2013, playing in every bar and every store. scott had bought a cadillac two weeks before his death so the whole ‘we’re driving cadillacs in our dreams’ line hit particularly hard. lotsa tears and lotsa fireball shots to that song over the years, dang. hearing it live was surreal and the rain and cold weather felt pretty appropriate. i was fully in the moment so big thanks to sis @cocobutterkipses for the vid and to @kilbyblockparty for the healing memory. music is the fucking best. 🖤 by @grace.note
