“You. You just need to show up.” It was Sunday SEVENTEEN years ago when the weight of Noah pressed against my chest. Every day since, we’ve recalled this as the absolute best day of MY life! Drew never questions the Truth in this declaration (his birth, simply/gloriously accentuating this same thread). It was the only prenatal visit I recall attending solo, interviewing a prospective pediatrician who foreshadowed the STRENGTH that life demands: perfect presents seemly roused out of hallowed air 🤲🧷🪢⚓️🎁 Noah gasped for breath, jaundiced/bruised after laboring Friday through Sunday evening in order to greet us. It was a different time. He was also two weeks past due! With only enough space for unwavering strength, none of us experienced struggle or disappointment 🎈 we honored Him last evening as he took possession of Brené Brown’s newest book (Strong Ground) 🙏 Dap him up if you spot him on the pitch today! 1️⃣7️⃣ by @grace.q.slack
