Wow. If you told me I’d be working at camp and be a counselor last year I would have thought you were crazy. This summer has been one for the books and this place is so special. The Lord abides here and you can tell by the people, kids, and intentionality that is put into everything. I was never a camper here but I found a family here at @bgcc1949 at Native and 7/11. Man these people love like Jesus. This place has my whole heart.

Thank you Jesus for saving me. Thank you all for loving me so much and showing me what a Godly family looks like. I can’t wait for next year! 🫶 taken in Blue Grass Christian Camp by @grace_a_hanlon

“The more that I look in the details, the more of Your goodness I find.”

Working in Costa Rica has been life changing. These kids have changed my life. The amount of joy they have just poured into my life and I am forever changed. This was an amazing group to share this experience with and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Casa de Esperanza, I know you will be loved by these kids. I can’t wait to go back. Muy bonita Costa Rica, te quiero mucho. 🫶🌺 Hasta la próxima.

“Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” ~Matthew 19:14

From managing the game to playing in it I learned how perfect Gods timing is. I am grateful for this new chapter of trusting His plan, staying grounded in the faith, and putting in the work. I am so thankful for the people who believed in me, loved me, and walked alongside me. My heart is so full and I’m so thankful for the blessings and people that Christ has given me 💜🤍

“Count it all joy, my brothers (and sisters), when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” -James 1:2-4
