Blumeys 💙📸

This experience has actually meant the world. I've learned so much and met so many beautiful, ridiculously talented people, and it was such a gift to be able to capture their work and see them shine on and off stage.

My fellow nominees, @urfava_ava08 @charlie.bullock4 and of course @richard.hughess, are some of the kindest, most passionate people I've ever had the privilege of meeting, and one week was just not enough time to spend with them.

I cannot thank @blumeyawards @blumenthalarts enough for creating such meaningful opportunities for young performers, technicians, and journalists. I've had the time of my life 🎶 taken in Blumenthal Performing Arts Center by @grace_gaffaney

Monster 🫀

Being able to direct (and briefly act in) this production has been one of if not the most meaningful experience of my high school career. We were all immediately drawn to this play, and I knew that together we'd make it something really special. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such a ridiculously talented and hardworking group. Thank you to everyone who gave me the courage and guidance I needed to take this on.

To the cast and crew of Monster, you are so capable and deserving. Thank you for lending your talent and creativity to this production, for being open to new things and taking risks, and thank you for trusting me to help bring this story to life. I couldn't have asked for a better last Play Production and NCTC :)

Watching you all on stage makes me so proud. Advancing to states and getting to witness you all be recognized for your dedication makes my heart so full, you have no idea. It's been an honor getting to be your student director, and you all will do great things.

Lots of love (and stickers),
Grace ❤️ by @grace_gaffaney
