Linda Mullen owns Grace & Diggs, where she turns recycled materials into wearable art, floral fascinators, backdrops and full immersive environments. For her, the Collective has been about the work, the friendships and the business that grew out of them.

Why Not Jewelry by Kirsty— Kirsty turns raw polymer clay and resin into bold, one-of-a-kind pieces. No two the same, and she takes commissions.

Grace & Diggs— Linda makes whimsical art out of upcycled materials. One-of-a-kind, and more beautiful in person than any photo manages.

Bobbie Bush— a photograph you love turned into a painted portrait. Pets, people, memorials. She's been doing this on the North Shore since long before most of us were paying attention. @bobbiebush

One last bit of summer before we settle in to cold weather! These shots are from Gallows Hill Fashion Show this past May. Liv - you made my first attempt at a garment so much fun, not to mention rocking that fascinator! I know it’s a bit late, but thank you! It was a such a delight coordinating the 2026 Community Art Project for Salem Arts Festival for a special year - Salem’s 400th birthday. Salem High School Students built the letters and then we asked various community groups to decorate each one. As a celebration of all the colorful and whimsical people found here in Salem, we named the project, “Character of Salem.” I am grateful for the people in my community. They are instigators, collaborators, friends. I am blessed and grateful.

Some specific thanks:
Salem Main Streets and Creative Collective for pulling off an amazing arts festival - this event is a huge part of what makes Salem special. @salemmainstreets @creativecollectivema John & team, Kylie, Elise you guys are phenomenal people. I am constantly amazed by you.

Thank you also to project sponsors who made this project possible! Salem Cultural Council, The Witchery, The Phoenix School, Marblehead Bank - it means so much for artists like me to have the resources to do art.
