This is one fall evening you won’t want to miss! by @graceandhavenco

Hi, I’m Amy — the founder of Grace & Haven — and if I’m being honest, being in front of the camera is one of my least favorite parts of all this. I usually feel awkward, stiff, and a little out of place.

But this shoot felt different.

It was just my sister and me, at one of my favorite little “beaches” where the CT River meets the Long Island Sound. It’s quiet, beautiful, and full of memories. We changed outfits in the convertible, laughed a lot, didn’t take ourselves too seriously… and just enjoyed the sunshine.

Somehow, the more I let go of trying to pose or “get it right,” the more these photos started to feel like me. And maybe that’s the point — that the real stuff, the behind-the-scenes moments, are where the magic is.

If you’re new here — welcome. I started Grace & Haven to create a place where every piece tells a story. Where what you wear feels timeless, thoughtful, and makes life even just a little more beautiful.

You’ll see a few new favorites here — early fall layers, a sun-safe dress that goes from beach to dinner, a cozy sweatshirt and jacket (with a few matching toddler options), and some pieces I’ll be mixing and matching all season long.

But more than anything, I hope this post reminds you that you don’t have to have it all together to show up. You just have to be you.

I’m so glad you’re here 🤍

✨ When you shop small, you’re not just supporting a business—you’re building community, supporting families, and inspiring future dreamers. ✨

At Grace & Haven, every dollar spent gets reinvested back into our shop and our community. Together, we’ve created:

• Free events where kids can play, imagine, and connect.
• Opportunities for women to learn new skills, pick up hobbies, and make meaningful connections.
• Partnerships with local makers and small businesses to highlight their talents.
• Donations of time and money to local causes, like supporting education.

These are the moments that make shopping small so much more than a transaction—it’s meaningful, intentional, and personal. And this holiday season, we’re curating every product and experience with YOU in mind, to make gifting thoughtful and stress-free.

To our customers: thank you for being the heart of this dream and our family’s journey. Your support means everything as we chase our little piece of happy. 💛

Let’s keep the Shop Small movement going! Tag your favorite small businesses in the comments or use the new note feature on this reel. Together, we can help others find amazing small shops to support this season.

Let’s show the world what happens when we invest in our communities. 🌟

The arms can’t reach the bottom of the holiday boxes, but the spirit is there. 🦖🎄😂

My daughter’s official reaction to all the holiday goodies arriving at Grace & Haven this week before Halloween. Mariah’s on. Boxes are everywhere. We’ve lost all chill.

Send this to the friend who’s been ready for Christmas since September. 👀🎁

The little details are the whole point. ✨

Gold buttons at the cuff. A little ruching in just the right place. Embroidery, tassels, lace, a beautiful cable knit.

When we’re curating our collections, those are the things we look for first—the thoughtful touches that make you pause, look closer, and say, “Oh, I love that.”

Because the pieces you reach for again and again should feel special, even on an ordinary Tuesday.

Retail Therapy is underrated. 😉 by @graceandhavenco

One kid in soccer. One husband coaching football. One kid riding horseback. Someday I’ll have my own thing but for now I’ll settle for the perfect vest to keep me warm watching them do what they love.

Anyone else feeling like the schedule coordinator?!

Ps - the purse is sold out but we are working on a restock and the football sweater is selling FAST this weekend so hurry!

PPS - those cute sneaks are available at @jaldenwomens just down the street. 🙌🏻 by @graceandhavenco

New window. New arrivals. Not even all on the website yet! Working our way through. The weather today was unbelievable and we hear tomorrow will be, too. The perfect time to come see us in Essex and check it all out! ⚓️ by @graceandhavenco

The kids had other plans. But this might be one of my favorite videos because of it. Working on not taking things too seriously. This is real life. Really, it’s what Grace & Haven is all about. 🫶🏻 by @graceandhavenco
