Still thinking of a title for this one.
This is my cousin, Devyn, playing in the sand at St. John.
To me this painting evokes a sense of nostalgia and simplicity as it captures a carefree and timeless moment. It’s reflecting pure enjoyment while being present with no distractions. It’s times like these with my cousins that remind me to embrace my inner child and to enjoy the simple things in life. I often find myself feeling this now, when I’m alone with a paint brush in my hand listening to good music. This painting definitely holds a special place in my heart. 🩵

Most recent painting. Wanted to try something new. Inspired by Mary Benson. Not sure that it’s done yet, but thought I’d give an update.🩷 by @gracebarrickart

“Dusk Ahead” original 11x14 oil painting. -Available for purchase! Message me if you’re interested! 🖼🎨

Western art holds a special place in my heart. College life can be fast paced and overwhelming, but I found so much peace and joy in setting aside the time to create this painting. Even if I had to do so in a cramped dorm room!
