CAMP 2026!

During worship at camp, the song Crowns Down by Gateway Worship played on repeat. The lyrics, “I will lay my crowns down at your feet… I will give my life as an offering” stuck with me. I reflected on what crowns symbolize in my life. We often picture crowns as golden, with gems or diamonds even representations of victory or achievement. But as I sat with the song, I realized my own “crowns” aren’t these things I have made out to be so beautiful. My crowns are invisible burdens I carry, my self reliance and the voice in my head that insists, “I can fix it. I’ve got this. I don’t need help.” Those crowns feel comforting, even empowering, but they weigh me down. They represent my struggle to trust God. Then the line “I will give my life as an offering” hit me. It led me to my future, to the calling I have to become a teacher. I’m so grateful for this passion God has given me, but also scared. Moving away, starting college, finances, new friends, can be all so overwhelming. But in those moments of fear, I return to the feet of my Father. I sing the lyrics,“I will lay my crowns down at your feet, and give my life as an offering.” And there, in His presence, I find peace. Because I know everything I need, He already has. by @gracebirely

HIGH ALTITUDE! ❄️⭐️🤍

I am forever grateful for the way God moved this weekend. We have all felt that high when we are at camp, that high of being so close to the Lord. When everything else in our lives gets quiet and we are focused on actively growing closer to God. A reminder that truly what is most important is our faith. Then we come home and we get back to the responsibilities, stress, and deadlines. But we don’t have to. We have the option everyday to live our life actively pursuing the Lord. We can leave our stresses and burdens behind and come home changed. We can take the lessons we learned and apply them to everyday life. We can use the power of prayer and worship to influence others wherever we go. So yes we feel that stronger when at camp, but don’t forget we can carry what we learned into everyday life, leave our burdens at His feet, and walk in joy wherever we go. by @gracebirely
