Played in the Ewing Automotive Medalist Summer Series Tour Championship last weekend at The Bridges at Firewheel and finished 1st after a tiebreaker hole! I shot a 75 (+3) on Day 1 and a 79 (+6) on Day 2, with the first day definitely feeling smoother. I had 29 putts and my putting and chipping were probably the best they’ve been recently, with lots of close chips and successful up-and-downs. My putting was also really solid and definitely showed in my score.

The second day was a little more challenging with some difficult lies, a less consistent driver, and putting and chipping that weren’t quite as sharp as the day before. Still, I was able to persevere and finish with 3 birdies. The heat was another challenge throughout the entire weekend with the humidity and sun, but we all pushed through!

I loved playing with Lila, Bentley, and Millie on the first day, and Millie, Mackenzie, and Ali on the second. It was also so much fun getting to play the tiebreaker hole with Millie at the end!

Huge thanks to NTPGA and Firewheel Golf Park for hosting such a great event. So excited for the upcoming high school golf season! taken in The Bridges At Firewheel by @gracechen.golf

Played the Medalist Metro Championship today at Brookhaven Country Club (Champions Course) and shot an 83 (+10) with 34 putts. It definitely wasn’t my best round, but I’m happy with it considering I had just gotten back from the 3-week UPenn Biomedical Research Summer Program and only landed two days ago. I was really just hoping to put together a decent round after being away from golf for a few weeks.

Everything felt a little rusty at first, but my driver and putting were definitely the strongest parts of my game and helped keep my score together. My chipping and bunker shots also got better as the round went on, which was nice to see. I finished T-4th, and while there’s still plenty to work on, I’m excited to keep improving before the Medalist Championship this coming weekend.

It was great playing with @gabbyolewegolf , lilamcdaniell , and Mackenzie, and huge thanks to NTPGA and Brookhaven Country Club for hosting another great tournament! taken in Brookhaven Country Club by @gracechen.golf

Played at The Course at Watters Creek and shot my all-time personal best of 72 with 30 putts! Everything just seemed to click, especially now that the pain from my hip strain has mostly gone away. It felt so much better than my last tournament, and I was finally able to play the way I knew I could.

This course made me pretty nervous going into the round because I remember really struggling here a few years ago. Coming back and playing it again felt completely different, and everything was so much smoother. My driver was working really well all day, and my putting definitely saved me on a few approach shots. Overall, it was an amazing round, and I’m so happy to have shot my new personal best.

Played at Field Ranch West at PGA Frisco and shot an 85, finishing 2nd overall. It was such a fun experience getting to play a new course, especially one at PGA Frisco. My long game was a little rough, but my short game really stepped up, especially my putting. The greens were incredibly fast and in amazing condition, so it took a little time to adjust, but it was a great challenge and a lot of fun to play on such a well-maintained course.

I also strained my hip before the round, so it was definitely an adjustment playing through it, but I was able to work through it and finish with a decent round. Huge thanks to NTPGA and PGA Frisco for hosting a great tournament! taken in Fields Ranch at PGA Frisco by @gracechen.golf

Played in two Medalist tournaments last week, one at Indian Creek on June 30 and another at Trails of Frisco on July 1. I shot a 78 both days (+6 at Indian Creek and +7 at Trails of Frisco), and I was really happy with those scores, especially since these were my first tournaments back after competing at the HOSA International Leadership Conference.

The weather was incredibly hot and humid for all five hours both days, but my groups pushed through and made the rounds a lot of fun. My putting is starting to feel more like normal again with 33 putts on the first day and 31 putts on the second, which I’m happy about. I still want to keep improving my chipping and approach shots, but overall it feels like my game is getting back on track after my competition trip.

I was excited to finish 1st place in both tournaments! It was great playing with @anvisharangolf , @erika.golf , and Katherine Stege on the first day, and @esther.golfs and Lexie Lea on the second. Played the Medalist Spring Championship at Prairie Lakes last Sunday and shot an 81, which definitely isn’t my best, but still pretty decent especially while going through some swing changes right now. My putting was a huge plus, hitting my PR with only 28 putts, and I made my first eagle, which was really exciting. The weather wasn’t great with drizzle and rain on and off all day, but honestly it wasn’t too bad, especially getting to play with such amazing people.

Finished 5th overall, and it was great playing with @adwithaaganesh_golf , @kennedy_golf18 , and Micaela Koudelka. Huge thanks to NTPGA and Prairie Lakes GC for hosting a great tournament! taken in Prairie Lakes Golf Course by @gracechen.golf

A little late, but wrapping up my season with my last tournament: the 11-5A UIL Districts back in March. Day 1 didn’t go how I wanted, shooting a 93 (+21) with 34 putts, but I came back on Day 2 with an 82 (+10) and 36 putts, which I was really proud of. The conditions were intense both days with 30–50 mph winds, so it was definitely a challenge for everyone. Despite these challenges, I am super proud of our team placing 3rd in the district at a Varsity level tournament!!

I can’t believe this season is already over. Being a part of the Varsity 2 team this season was amazing and I am so so grateful for such an amazing team. Already looking forward to next season and continuing to improve!! taken in The Bridges Country Club by @gracechen.golf

Played the Lovejoy Spring Classic Girls Varsity Tournament at Heritage Ranch Country Club on March 10 and shot an 80 (+8). I was on track for around par through the first 9, but my putting and chipping slipped a bit and affected my score. My long game felt solid overall, and having 3 birdies definitely helped. Not my best round, but I’m already working toward a stronger one at the next tournament. taken in Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club by @gracechen.golf

Played the Medalist Tournament at Brookhaven Country Club (Championship Course) last Monday, Feb 16 and shot a 73 (+1), which was my new personal best and good enough for 1st place. My putting was a huge part of my success that day, with 29 putts and lots of one-putts that really carried my score, and my driver felt great all day. I had a few bogeys and one double after landing in a bunker, but making birdies helped balance things out. Definitely want to keep improving my bunker play and 30–40 yard shots, but overall such a great first round of the year and I’m really happy with how it turned out!!

Played the Medalist Championship at Prairie Lakes on December 7 and shot a 77 (+6), which felt pretty solid for the day. My putting was on point with 29 putts, and even though my first nine were a bit inconsistent, the back nine felt great with mostly steady 4s. With the cold weather and strong winds, I’m really happy with how the round came together. Had a lot of fun playing with @esthergwho , Vania and Emma, and big thanks to NTPGA and Prairie Lakes for hosting a great tournament! taken in Prairie Lakes Golf Course by @gracechen.golf

Played at The Club at Frisco Ranch yesterday (Nov 24) and shot an 84 (+12, with an adjusted score of 82), which could be way better. My putting was fine with 33 putts, and even though the round wasn’t my best, I still pulled out a 2nd-place finish. Thanks to Frisco Ranch and NTPGA for hosting a great tournament!
