It was such a beautiful night of worship, celebration, surrender, and fellowship. I woke up with my heart feeling so full and grateful. Last night, my husband and our oldest son were honored by our alma mater. What a meaningful homecoming. ❤️

Grace College and Theological Seminary hold such a special place in our hearts. My dad attended Grace Seminary, and I was born in Winona Lake while he was a student. My parents later served as missionaries in Brazil, and my dad continued his ministry as a Grace Church pastor in Ashland.

Years later, Winona Lake became the place where Jeff and I met, fell in love, and got engaged. Returning last night, with both Jeff and Josiah being recognized, felt like another beautiful chapter in our family’s story.

Josiah was named Grace College’s Young Alumni of the Year for his impact through Collective, reaching young adults across the greater Akron area. He has a heart of gold and serves without seeking recognition. I’m so proud to be his mom.

My husband and best friend, Dr. Jeff Bogue, received Grace Theological Seminary’s Alumni of the Year Award. I’ve had a front-row seat to his calling, sacrifices, perseverance, and faithfulness. Through Grace Church and the vision of 30 in 30, his heart is to help people know Jesus. I’m so proud of him.

I’m grateful for the generations of faith and ministry woven into our family’s story.

Part of our Grace family, Ben and Tanya felt called to pursue ministry in Mazatlán, Mexico, with Shoulder to Shoulder. A few years ago, we commissioned them as they followed God’s call to the mission field. This fall, they are spending time investing in local pastors in Mazatlán. Pray that this would be a fruitful season and that these pastors would feel encouraged and equipped as they lead their churches and communities. We’re so thankful for the Falkenbergs and their ministry in Mexico! by @gracechurchbath
