Welcome to my little corner of the internet 👋 (say hi in the comments)

I’m Grace, a 39-year-old corporate millennial, fitness coach, dog mom, Type C girlie, and real-life human trying to not fall apart before retirement.

Around here we lift weights, eat enough protein, survive desk-job life, laugh at ourselves, and do hard things because they make us feel capable.

I share realistic fitness, corporate millennial nonsense, desk-job survival tips, and free workouts for regular people with real lives.

Honestly, I’m so glad you’re here.

nothing against my job, i just think having to go there five days a week really interferes with my other interests 😂

hi, i’m grace 👋 millennial with a full-time desk job and 15+ years as a fitness & nutrition coach.

if you’re also trying to stay fit, have hobbies, survive corporate life and enjoy yourself somewhere in between, i think we’ll get along.

after 15+ years working a desk job AND coaching fitness, i’ve learned a thing or two about making wellness fit into an already busy life.

and there’s actually some behaviour science behind these little shortcuts.

🧠 make fewer decisions. planning ahead and having backup options removes some of the friction between wanting to do something and actually doing it. relying on motivation every day is a terrible business plan.

🚶‍♀️ use habits you already have. attaching a new behaviour to an existing routine gives your brain a consistent cue. and having a little ritual to mentally clock out of work can help you switch into actual life mode.

💖 protect your free time. having control over your downtime, doing things you enjoy and actually disconnecting from work are all important parts of recovery. yes, doing absolutely nothing counts.

⏰ make things easier to start. breaking overwhelming tasks into smaller, manageable chunks makes them less intimidating. you’d be surprised what you can get done when you’re only committing to 15 minutes.

the goal isn’t to squeeze 47 more things into november. it’s to make taking care of ourselves a little easier while still having a life. by @gracedoit
