In an attempt to be fully transparent with you all, here is a story time: If you’re eating you probably won’t want to read this.
This boysenberry ice cream was some of the best ice cream I’d ever had. Fast forward 30 minutes and a few miles later and this ice cream was taking fish and I for a ride. Let’s paint the scene. We are riding through wide open fields, MILES from a bathroom when 💥 a flurry of rage is reckoning my insides. Fish and I are about 20 yards apart squatted in the bushes trying to hide from traffic as this boysenberry ice cream gives me a cleanse I can imagine most LA moms would pay their child’s college tuition for.
The bright side, this situation did not cause more dirty laundry!

A good bike rack is a game changer!

I’ve hauled gear across New Zealand, toured Japan, island-hopped through Tahiti, and packed for more weekend bikepacking trips than I can count, all with Old Man Mountain racks.

Over the years, I’ve used each one a little differently:

PIZZA RACK→ I get sooo many questions about this one! The large platform gives you endless mounting possibilites!

ELKHORN→ Lightweight, versatile, and one of my favorite setups for bikepacking. It can be mounted on the front or rear, depending on your bike and the way you ride.

DIVIDE→ My choice for heavier loads, longer trips, and those adventures where I know I’m going to load this thing up!

One of the coolest things about Old Man Mountain is that these racks can work with almost any bike. If your bike has braze-ons, great! If not, their Fit Kits mount directly through the axle, opening up a whole world of possibilities.

There isn’t one “best” rack, but there is a rack that’s best for the way YOU ride.

Which one are you picking?

PT. 4 - Dropper Post & Saddle!
I’m curious, how long has your Brooks saddle lasted you?
This @brooksengland saddle has been worth every penny! One of the best investments I’ve made for my bikes!
I’m nearing 3 years with mine and I can confidently say I love it. The break in periods was about 150 miles, but it wasn’t bad (I also did all of that without a Chammy!) any other ladies typically ride without a chammy? My Brookes saddle took me through Japan and New Zealand without a single day in a Chammy… with no problems!
This dropper post came from @weareprimoscycles. Their flatbar dame is sold with the dropper post which is sweet!
For long days in the saddle, navigating different terrain, I have loved my dropper post!
This set up isn’t the lightest but I would opt for this combo any day!
Plus it takes about 2 minutes to swap this dropper post, no fancy hardware or mounting! taken in Utah, USA by @graceelou
