Hull is clearly about gun violence and the vastness that is the topic of gun violence. It's about how something can be so clear and obvious, but it's ignored. It’s about how the whole can hide the part. The whole; a chandelier, a sign of beauty, inspiration, and light. The part; used ammunition, a souvenir from a violent expression, tiny trophies strung together to form a memorial. Bright red and brass. Examining it for just a second longer and realizing that it’s actually very wrong and shouldn’t be there.

Makeshift photography studio in the garage for a chandelier I recently completed. “HULL” will be on display at The Arts Marketplace during Art Prize. It’s a great nonprofit exhibition and retail space dedicated to promoting women and women of color. @artprize @the_arts_marketplace by @gracefetzer

I was able to identify the set of Iron Man as also being the home of Alicia Keys. Less of a bragging right, more of a red flag. by @gracefetzer
