What I ate on the run last week. Plant based diet is going well, my fingers have lost that tight feeling they used to have. Blood pressure is stable and lower, but not quite low enough to leave the meds behind yet. I read books. Occasionally I’ll do what they say. Last week everything changed. This is @richroll and his story of how plant based eating changed his life.

Last Thursday, on the heels of being released from a weekend in the hospital, the stress of a legal situation gave me this blood pressure reading. Back to the ER I went, just as my right hand went numb. Mercifully, I didn’t have a stroke, just a hypertensive crisis.

My CT scan and MRI results gave me the all clear, partially. The arteries going to my brain are 50-75% blocked. And I thought it was just post-menopausal rage.

I’m following the Cleanse protocol in Appendix IV and here I am on Day 5. I’m taking BP medication also, and committing to better stress management. by @gracefilledgoth
