Maybe the best travel advice is sometimes the simplest. 🌴

Feel good.
Chill.
Be happy.

One of the things I love about travelling — and especially travelling a little slower — is learning to stop trying to fill every minute of every day.

Some days don't need an itinerary.

Find somewhere by the sea. Order something good. Watch the world go by. Talk to someone new. Stay longer than you planned.Sometimes that becomes the memory you take home with you.

Travel doesn't always have to be about seeing more. Sometimes it's about slowing down enough to experience more. 🌍

A little introduction from the person behind Go Gracefully 👋🏾🌍

I'm an Independent Travel Advisor, traveller, food lover and someone who has spent the past 15 years living overseas and experiencing life in different parts of the world.

For me, travel has never just been about ticking another country off a list.

It's the food you discover, the people you meet, the streets you wander down, the cultures you experience and those completely unexpected moments that often become your favourite memories.

There’s so much more to a destination than the places listed in a guidebook. 🌍

One of the things I love most about travelling is experiencing the everyday life of a place — wandering the streets, stopping at little local spots, watching a game of dominoes, meeting people and seeing where the day takes you.

Puerto Viejo on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast is one of those places where life happens all around you. 🇨🇷🌴

Yes, there are beautiful beaches, wildlife and incredible scenery — but it’s the culture, people, food, music and everyday moments that give a place its soul.

And that’s a big part of what I want Go Gracefully to be about.

Some places make you slow down. 🌅

No plans. No rushing. Just stopping for a moment and watching the sky change.

One of my favourite things about travelling is remembering that the best moments aren't always the ones you planned.

Sometimes it's a sunset you weren't expecting, a conversation with someone you just met, a meal you still think about months later, or a place that makes you stay a little longer than you intended.

This was one of those moments in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. 🇨🇷🌴

Sometimes the best part of travelling is simply experiencing everyday life somewhere different. 🌍

No packed itinerary. No rushing from one attraction to another. Just wandering the streets, stopping for food, cycling to the beach, discovering little places and taking in the rhythm of life around you.

This is everyday life in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica 🇨🇷🌴 — colourful, laid-back, Caribbean and full of character.

For me, this is what travel is really about. Not just seeing a destination, but getting a little closer to how it feels to be there.
