It’s been a week and this verse has spoken to me. I want to always be yoked to God so that I can always find rest for my soul and allow Him to take my heavy burdens. I pray for rest for my soul and yours. Often times we try to power through times when we are heavy laden and weary, but we don’t have to. We can turn to God and ask Him for rest. On March 5th my husband and I hit our 10 year anniversary. I wrote him a letter and wanted to share a portion of it below.

To my Husband

Where do I begin it has been 10 years and I don’t know what I would do without you. I love you more and more each day. Everyday I wake up and thank God for allowing me to be your wife. You are handsome, kind, loving, funny and amazing. You complete me. We have accomplished so much together in such a short time. Thank you for being my best friend. You have shown me what true love is. I have learned that love is more than a word. It’s an action, an action I choose daily. An action that you have shown me will bring some of the best moments. 10 years ago I said I Do and today I still do. I promise to continue to love you endlessly, to support you tirelessly, to push you and to encourage you. by @gracefulrib

I was just talking to Josh last night about this. To be living in the favor and able to recognize it that’s a whole different level of thankful! I can’t even begin to say how thankful I am for the rooms my name is in that my feet haven’t entered. I ask that you all continue to walk into those rooms with bold steps in FAITH! by @gracefulrib

One thing that Josh and I love to do is travel. His job allows him to travel and I normally tag along. My favorite places to crash on his work trips is LA and San Diego. I’m currently going through withdrawal and all this snow we have here is not helping. So flashback to circa 2015. Is there a place or thing that you and your significant other love to do? What plans do you have that you are working on? I know I have plans on top of plans but I have recently stopped my mad dash to “make things happen” to make sure that these plans are indeed what God has for me. I pray we all stop to seek God in our planning and make sure it aligns with Him. by @gracefulrib
