🤍🧡 Vermont Contract🤍🧡
Our time in Vermont has come to a close and we’ll miss it so much. I could truly write a book about each contract we’ve been on. This one was so special but also hard in its own way.
We lived in a 300sqft apartment above a repair shop in a one stop light town 30 minutes from the Canadian border. What an experience!! I’ve never had better running experiences. A trail from Canada thru the length of Vermont was right in our backyard! We ran across Lake Champlain and in multiple states.

We got to have so many travels🥹
Started out with some bittersweet family time in Virginia which lead to the loss of our sweet Mimi. We’ll cherish that family time we had forever.

We then headed to Niagara Fall(Canadian side duh) which actually lead to us falling in love with a tiny tiny town in Canada(A-frame cabin)

We went to Montreal, Canada multiple times and got to reconnect with an old friend!

Orien ran the spartan half marathon up Killington mountain in Vermont. An insane test of endurance and heart. 8.5 hours climbing up and down ski slopes. Unreal and so proud of him.

Burlington, Vermont was a weekly visit. Our biggest city experience😂

Explored caves in New Hampshire

Ran a half marathon in Bar Harbor, Maine. That trip started out with staying in a tent overnight(30 degrees) but seeing the most amazing stars we’ve ever seen. We had our hardest race but most rewarding!

Our time in Vermont came to a close with a visit to the Ben and Jerry’s Factory and a night out with my new lifelong friends.

Vermont you taught me so much. Most important I learned the slow side of life. I started noticing all these small but beautiful experiences we were living with other humans. (Sunsets everyone was taking pictures of). I fell even more in love with my partner which I didn’t know was possible.

This life is truly SO precious and worth every single hardship.

Planes, trains , and automobiles!!! The true Alaskan experience perfectly fit with running, biking, hiking, and surprise rock climbing(slide 18, yes we climbed that)
Our favorite place to be, this time sharing it with my parents🩵

In all my years running I’ve never felt better and happier than I did yesterday during the half marathon. I’ve truly entered this stage of my running career with nothing but joy for the sport and yesterday was just that.
Absolutely blew my goals out of the water and I’m so proud🥹
It’s been 10 years since Brett and I ran our first half marathon together and now doing it with my soulmate also. Thankful for my guys🤍 taken in Anchorage, Alaska by @gracehess13

September… the one where Alaska came to an end😞
We had a once in a lifetime 3 month stay in the most beautiful state. I’ll forever be grateful for this opportunity to live and work in such a unique place! We traveled to over 8 cities in our time.
Special thank you to my built in travel buddy. Thank you for making everyday an adventure 🤍
Can’t forget to thank my bike for getting me to and from work everyday in every weather❄️🌨️💨
