Probably our biggest signing to date? We are very pleased to welcome @joe_joecurran to the Team HUP squad.

“As a beginner rider who’s only been cycling for 23 years, I’m surprised my potential has been spotted so early. I’m sure it’s on my own merit and nothing to do with the fact @graceinglis is already on the team? The team seem ok, for lycra types…”

Another Scottish resident rider, Joe plans to hit the cyclocross hard on selected North East series and @scottishcx rounds, NT and Belgium on his HUP evo2’s.

On a recent training session @keithstockercoaching was spotted quietly asking Joe for some tips on sand. Praise indeed 🤷‍♂️

Keen to get back into Cross, life in the Tweed Valley on his mountain bike, means it won’t take long, even if there is no sand 💪

Gravel Champs was a thing! Big congrats to @graceinglis for 3rd in the Elite race on her HUP GCX. And what a race? Is the sport of Gravel the most brutal thing you can do on 2 wheels?

Bionic @petematthews7 hit some seriously tough stuff at speed sending his Di2 into crash mode, without actually crashing, ending 5th over the line after the resets 👊

@samchisholm2004 (after a big 140km road race at the Champs the day before) very sensibly pulled after the first 1000m of climbing. More than happy with that decision!

@reddytasha finally succumbed to her bad hip, after 2 weeks on her spare bike (non-HUP) and it’s 170mm cranks 🫣 out in Tenerife. Again, after her podium the night before, was 💯 the right decision 👏

Well done to everyone who took on the brutal course and big average speeds for 3 or 4 hours on those rigid bikes 👀🤌

Thanks for the support @vittoriauk_tyres

The XC ladies hit the British XC Marathon Champs in Scotland at the weekend, Team HUP’s @graceinglis took the Elite win after 4 1/2 hours of cross country racing 💪 @ishbelstrathdee just missed out in the sprint finish for 5th and @reddytasha had a wee OTB and so sensibly bailed on the 2nd lap🤘 @meganmowbray came in 19th looking waaay too happy after that big, big race mileage was covered 😘

Well done to all the ladies who raced on another big @britishcycling weekender 😎

I took a step back from racing on the xc bike this year. it’s been the best I’ve ever felt on the bike, racing with zero pressure and the goal being to just to enjoy it. I’ve been training for CX, and I’m really excited for it, which is a very nice feeling.

National Marathon champ❤️🤍💙. I think these jerseys just prove how much headspace matters ✌️ taken in Newcastleton, Scottish Borders by @graceinglis
