Now that Season 4 of Jeopardy! Masters is in the rearview mirror, I’m excited to be able to put all my focus on getting Know It All into the world!

Know It All is all about how to figure out what you need to know to do whatever YOU care about—whether that's playing Jeopardy or speaking Esperanto or becoming a better coder—identifying the resources to get there, and building a process that will get whatever you need to know into your head. by @gracewithano

I don't usually think of myself as Lawful Good, but when I study I sure am. Where are you on this grid? A cognitive phenomenon that makes Jeopardy! contestants buzz in, squint, and say, "uh...nope" can also explain part of why you can't pull answers out of your brain when you take a test, or why you feel so confident doing your daily Duolingo but freeze up when you get the opportunity to try your language in person. A lot of people have asked about what I wore on Masters this season so I thought I’d put everything in one place. Most of the shopping I did was a decent bit of time in advance of taping, and about half of what I wore this year I bought secondhand, so I don’t know what all might still be available—unfortunately I’m guessing not a ton.

Last week: finally started playing Balatro, the video game version of methamphetamines.

Today: starting this, a book I have seen described as the “literary version of methamphetamines”, at the behest of @deadlifting_dm.

Please let me know if there are any other methamphetamines of different fields of human endeavor I should go for next week.

I’ve been on a self-imposed “Sweater Sabbatical” since Masters taped in July: no studying until I knit two (2) sweaters. Things are coming along!
