God, you have blessed Pol and i with the most beautiful gift, a love that is in fact not perfect but it continues to radiate you daily. Pol, what a beautiful story we have. God has not prevented us from going into storms but he send us there for a specific reason. He continues to provide the necessary protection and resources to give us strength to withstand the toughest of storms together. He intertwined our roots to connect us in oneness. We prayed for growth and He provided the rain.

Pol, you are my breath of fresh air, the man who has exceeded my dreams. Loving you feels like peace, like home, like the sweetest reminder of God’s goodness in my life. I’m so grateful for our story, I am so excited to step into this new season of life with you and be your wife! by @graciebybee_

I remember my dad telling me on a road trip to Iowa my senior year that the NAIA national tournament was held there too. Later that year God directed my steps to commit to OKWU. It’s crazy how much time has passed since then, and that yesterday was the last time I put on a jersey. God has taught me performance isn’t my identity and my value isn’t found in anything but who He says I am. With full humility, I admit I’ve struggled with that for years, but now I have overwhelming joy because God has shown me who my true audience is and who He created me to be. He has put love in place of jealousy, patience in place of frustration, peace instead of fear, and confidence instead of insecurity. God gave me the gift of volleyball not for the spotlight but for the friendships, memories, and lessons rooted in a sisterhood. If I could tell you all one last thing it would be; you are not defined by material things or performance but by your heart and who God calls you to be. So love deeply, nurture intently, and glow with kingdom light. I learned that from one of the most important people in my life..

Dad, thank you for being my biggest supporter for thirteen years. I am blessed to be your babygirl. You lifted my eyes from the ground when I thought I wasn’t good enough, wiped the tears on my cheeks, and brushed the dirt off when I fell. You learned a sport because I was passionate about it, and we formed a bond that will never break. You invested in me every step of the journey and taught me to look forward, never back. The memories of our road trips will flicker through my mind every time I hear a Coldplay song. Dad, you are such a reflection of our heavenly Father, and I couldn’t have done this without you. You are my everglow.

To my momma, Pol, my family, coaches, teammates, and all the people who supported me, thank you for all you’ve instilled in me and for being such a beautiful piece of this chapter. This chapter has closed, but its lessons will live on for generations to come. All glory to God. by @graciebybee_
