That’s a wrap! Got 2nd 🥈 2x and 🥉 ! Couldn’t be happier🩷 What an incredible experience! 3 years ago I had my first son. 18 months ago I had my second. After back to back pregnancies and feeling disconnected to my body, I really wanted to focus on my strength and feeling like myself again. I started lifting after being away from it for so long. And one day I decided to do a bodybuilding show. I met @stepine2210 and he became my coach. And how lucky was I to have such an incredible person coaching me through this prep. The way my body changed and the confidence he gave me is unmeasurable. I will always be thankful to a coach who understands the important balance of diet, rest, and training and not once did I ever question him. And as a father of two sons himself he understands that great joy and gratitude it gives you when you make your children proud. My sons may be young, but they’ll always know that mom can do hard things. @jeffrey_martin_dwelle having you (the legend) teach me how to pose- I honestly couldn’t have done it with out you. I am blessed to have learned from you. I also want to thank my incredible husband for supporting me through this journey, he didn’t just support me. But when I doubted myself he never did. Sometimes his voice of reasoning would be the thing that kept me going. To all of my friends who watched me and cheered me on along the way, you have no idea what it means to have such an incredible village. A love letter to my wife: In this world, the older I get the more I realize that love is the only currency that matters. Love of family, friends, your passions, hobbies… love is the thing in this world that that will lead you through the darkest days and be the thing that helps you enjoy the best. For me, love it’s what made me understand and feel at home. My entire life I didn’t know what home truly felt like. We moved so much when I was a kid and it didn’t change when I became an adult. But then I met @gracieofcourse My wife has shown me that love does not deceive, it does not hold things over your head in order for you to feel it, and that love is priceless in this world. When I wrote my vows I told my wife she is the first person in this world to make me feel home. She risked everything for me. She left her family and uprooted her life for me for the first time in her life. she moved to Austin to be with me and the day after I asked her parents for her hand in marriage, I found out we had to leave Austin for denver for my career. She has been in Austin for almost a month. I’ll never forget that phone call. There was a pause and she took a deep breath, and said okay we will figure it out. Gracie is a bright light in this world. She has a small circle because she loves fiercely. She is beyond loyal. That loyalty has carried me through so much. But her love for me has changed who I am as a man. It has made me learn to love myself and created a better man in all facets of my life. My friendships, my relationships with my brothers, and how I conduct myself in my professional life. But that love has given me the greatest gift of my life, our son Killian. @gracieofcourse you are the best thing to ever happen to me. Without you those 9 months when I didn’t see you after I met you, all I thought about was how empty I felt. When I realized I was missing you, I realized I was falling in love with you. When the universe put you back into my life that fateful day in August 2017, an emptiness I that I have struggle with my whole life disappeared. I fell in love with you under the stars in Alabama Hills. But I have loved you from the moment I found out you existed. by @gracieofcourse
