I truly couldn’t be more grateful for Phi Mu and all of the incredible memories and friendships it has given me. My heart is overflowing today because God’s goodness has truly changed everything for me!!

I’ve always been quiet with my faith, keeping my journey to myself, but something in me changed today, and I feel led to finally share my story. If you know me, you know I’ve always been stubborn. I like control, doing things on my own timing, and believing I can handle it all on my own. For a long time, that’s how I lived. On the outside, it looked fine. I had friends I loved, a major I enjoyed, and a life that should have felt full. But deep down, there was an emptiness I couldn’t quite figure out.

Last year, in the quiet of my room, that emptiness became unbearable. I realized I was fighting a battle no one could see. I felt empty, unseen, and deeply alone. That night, something in me broke. I stopped resisting and started praying. Instantly, the weight I had been carrying was lifted, not by me, but by God meeting me in my weakness.

Since then, everything has shifted. I go to church not out of routine but out of a desire for Him. I serve in the children’s ministry not to check a box, but because I finally know what it means to be seen and loved by Him. Jesus has filled the emptiness I once carried with His peace and His presence.

Today, I buried that old way of living and stepped into new life with Him. I’m so extremely blessed and grateful for amazing friends and family who push me closer to Jesus, hold me accountable, and remind me of Him when I try to run back to control.
