Dear Grandad,
I love you so much and this doesn’t feel real. I miss you more and more everyday and I wish this wasn’t true. You have always been there from when I was just born to your final days. You have always been supportive in whatever I do and tried to help out whatever way you can. You have been a second father figure in my life and I have no idea how i’m going to continue on. Your raspy chuckle when I would make jokes around the fire made my evening every time. Through thick and thin you have always been there for my mom and always picked up at 1 A.M. when she had a bad day. You kept her going and I know she will never be the same without you. None of us will. “did you hear the cheese factory in France blew up? there was De Brie everywhere.” That joke was one of the funniest dad jokes ever from you as I have french heritage. Grandad, I don’t think you ever realized how much of an impact you made on me. I wanted to be like you from the day I was 5. Your little gifts that you would always send me and Parker would make my month and even though they weren’t expensive, they felt like they costed 1 million dollars. Grandad, I am going to miss you everyday and night and while your watching over me I want you to remember the huge impact you have on me. As a wise man once said “I’m just a 15 y/o boy in a 60 y/o mans body. I love you!
