To Braden, I love you so much & miss you with every passing day. I should've been by your side but I wasnt and I regret that so much. I remember the first time I met you my freshman year of highschool in carpentry class & you were the only person that would talk to me for a bit. I still remember how we would always joke about cutting of Boelmans ponytail with the buzz saw😂. Im sorry we grew distant over the pass few years. I love you Braden & I know you are up in heaven shredding the clouds on your snow mobile. Your name, number, and memory will forver live on with me and everyone that cares for you. I wouldn't normally post something like this, but it really matters to me.

Ever since I was a kid, the outdoors played a crucial role throughout my life. From going to find new fishing spots with my dad to going bike camping with my mom, public lands were all to thank for these experiences.

Every river I've crossed, mountain I've summited, every dead tree I climbed over, and every time I decided spending a day out in the woods because it was better than what was going on in town. Public lands were there for me to explore. The freedom of being able to explore and learn at every corner is what I thank God for every day. Getting the privilege to go out and enjoy what nature has to offer is a gift no one should resent.

Our public lands are a glimpse of the history of our beautiful country and what it has to offer. Centuries of hunting, fishing, exploring, and much more was all done in our backyards. These things were so important to the people who came before us, they did all they could to preserve it for not just them but for future generations to come.

Right now, our government is proposing a bill that would sell over 3 million acres of our public lands. Land that countless of men and women fought to preserve. Selling this land will not only just take away these lands, but culture, stories, recreation, and other things that many people like you and me care for.

Please reach out to your state senator to help fight this bill. Countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears was put in to give us all this gift we currently have. Dont let them take it away from us.
