My journey, my images express that our American identity depends upon a reverence towards our shared horizons. The horizon is a universal territory where here is seen from there and there is seen from here.
Due to socio-political issues, horizons are being shattered and I offer my work, my life, and my images as the experience of spiritual transport offering reverence for our shared histories. America is the seeds of there that became here. Our identity is rich with shared beliefs and the courage to become one. I refer to this courage and the shock or recognition. We are a better America when we have healthy fluid horizons to maintain our connections to ancestors and traditions that were carried to America. by @graffeokc
