It’s not often that your college town hosts the world’s largest wiener dog race every year. Hearing “We have a Wiener!” after every race was quite uplifting. And I named this stingray Steve-O
.

10 year old me wouldn’t be able to comprehend everything I’ve done. I wouldn’t know what a drum major is, the impact of a clarinet, and moreover anything related to what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I never knew I would find interests in videography or photography. All that was there was legos, arts and crafts, and the gummy bear album. I wouldn’t know what 10 year old me would be proud of, but I wouldn’t have expected this. Just an innocent child with no thoughts of my future, I was just enjoying my time; I’d say my time was well spent. I landed where I landed, and I wouldn’t change anything about this decade.
.
But if young me understood what I’ve done, he’d be proud. He’s just gotta put the technic legos down first. taken in Birthday Boy by @graham_caden

The Bridge
………….
A place where two ends meet. A common place for people to travel across. The link.
.
Over time, something to the bridge may occur. It may be too small to let boats through, it can be amongst the largest and allow any boat to pass under it. But through these obstacles, a bridge can still function.
.
A bump in the road or a hole may appear that may obstruct the path conjoining the two lands. One side has a department that can alleviate the bridge from collapsing, and the other has the amenities to fill the hole. One side cannot fix the bridge by itself.
.
The two landmasses fail to communicate with one another and have difficulties solving the hole in the bridge. One side believes that the other is fully capable of fixing the pit while the other reciprocates the same.
.
With built up stress, the lands give up and stop worrying about the bridge. But there are people within the cities that have work on the other side and they are unable to make it there. They are dismissed from their positions and have to find work locally. No longer do they approach the bridge.
.
Since all is desolate near the bridge, it begins to deteriorate; the walls thinned, the street cracked, and the hole broadened. It was deadly to approach. One city noticed and called out to the other, but the other had no response, no stigma to the abstruse bits of shouting from the other side of the bridge. Not one person batted an eye. The other landmass would do the same as the other, but at a time the other side had far given up to expect anything in return.

Alas, the bridge folded in on itself and plunged into the water, being entirely engulfed by the barrier between the lands. The people were shocked, however, they had expected it to happen all this time. The two lands were now just cities that sat nearby with no bridge within due to lack of maintenance. Boats would still occasionally go back to forth, but they were nothing more than an occasional visit, nothing daily for anyone.

All of a sudden, one day, one of the cities receives a newspaper article about a bridge. But not a bridge for them. It was a bridge for the other city, leading to another city. taken in OS-Biloxi Bridge by @graham_caden
