🎵🪩🔊WE ARE BACK! for an incredible wealth of programming for this summer season. Reflexions presents... All vinyl, all night! With Graham Hatke, Cookie Problems (NYC), Chef Carl, and xXabiXx.

Step beneath the surface and into a night where rhythm leads the way. Rooted in the underground, this all-vinyl session blends hypnotic percussion, deep rolling basslines, soulful grooves, and raw house energy inspired by dance floors from Chicago, New York, and beyond.

Our high selectors of the night will be coming forward with the most eclectic selection, celebrating the warmth, texture, and authenticity of vinyl. Expect extended journeys, deep cuts, and timeless classics—music crafted for those who come to lose themselves in the rhythm, not the spotlight. Showcasing the nightly grooves, we have:

Chef Carl (Zap Outdoorz) is a Washington DC based organizer and avid music listening. She is known for her “sensual chuggy grooves” blending a mix of deep house, techno, and wide ranging left field experimental music. She’s played all over DC at venues like ESL, Showtime, and the Eaton Radio. Whatever Chef Carl is cooking, we want a taste.

Graham Hatke is a very high vinyl selector and staple of Baltimores nightlife community. Melting sounds far and few between genres, always bringing the deep cuts from his crates. Expect the unexpected, and let the house music variants groove you.

Cookie Problems never sleeps, in the city that never sleeps. We invite this soulful selector and jacking house head, to Baltimore from New York. Cookie creates love connections... this matchmaker of beats will make us move all night long.

xXabiXx (Free Pussy) is another Washington DC based community member and DJ. Her commitment to night life and the DIY is extraordinary, between being a lighting alchemist, a tremendous turntablist, and queer event organizer. She blends sensuous house, groovy bass, punchy club tracks, and acid house. A frequent selector at Showtime Lounge, DC9, and Sinners & Saints, and she is a core member of the FLINTA-exclusive vinyl party crew, Free Pussy.

Be ready to dance and let the music take you away. Just underground house music, all vinyl, all night. by @graham_hatke

Got some things to announce ☘️

This Saturday from 2-3pm I’ve been given the opportunity to raid the vinyl collection at the @prattlibrary and put together a dj mix for their Spin Cycles series which I’ll be performing live in the music wing. Will also be selections from my own vault particularly super rare music from the Baltimore area and probably some other ambient and dance tracks thrown around

Then on the 28th will be a double feature starting with the @zap.outdoorz fundraiser and tape release party in DC and then heading back to B-More for a full 4 hour mix session of rare grooves at @theidlehourbaltimore from 10-close ✌️ by @graham_hatke

A sonic force to be reckoned with, @kodenation_ returns to Charm City Saturday October 25th.

Constantly pushing the boundary of our musical understanding, Traxx follows in the traditions set by luminaries Ron Hardy, Lil Louis, and Farley Jackmaster Funk, delving into only the most primordial and emotive forms of music. With releases on his own Nation, Kode, and DirtyBlends labels as well as Dark Entries and Offen Records… The Duke is just beginning to reveal the width of his artistic wings.

Spiral Jetty is bringing their hardware only approach to the warehouse to help stir up a craze alongside two of our favorite selectors in the area, @chellejoestar and @graham_hatke.

This event is 21+. As always, if cost is a barrier please reach out, it’s all about the music.

Tickets are available on RA, the address of the event will be emailed to ticket holders the day of the event. by @graham_hatke

Got a few things coming up I wanna throw out there…

This Saturday I’ll be at @theidlehourbaltimore mixing rare grooves from 10-close. The vibe is based around album cuts from the 70’s early 80’s spanning funk, jazz-funk and prog rock. As always there’ll be some disco, r&b and house in the mix too and the whole night is free

Also playing on @thelotradio this upcoming Monday night from 10-11pm. Yes somehow this is actually my first time 🤷🏼‍♂️

Then on Artscape weekend I’m super hyped to be a part of the S-Scape festival. On Saturday the 24th, @dj_diaspora_official and I will be throwing down highly danceable vinyl selections from 10pm-close at Zodiac (the venue next to Club Charles)🎵✨There’s also a super stacked lineup of djs the night before and amazing live acts at Mercury Theater and True Vine on both nights!!!
