Golf Digest 3rd best golf course in the world 🌎

I think I’ve found my happy place ❤️ the golf course, the weather, the company, the noise of the waves and the quality of golf being played.

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”

Can’t wait to see how the footage turns out. Huge shoutout to @andy_renton_ @casperhunterreeds by @grahambrowngolf

Finishing 3 holes at Glenbervie…
3 fairways and 3 greens in regulation…
Have I finally found some form at the end of the season…

3 holes as a 4 handicap… pulled tee shots (I fade the ball), behind trees and missing fairways by 80 yards!

Shoutout to Canadian Will in the coms!

First three holes at my home course Glenbervie.

It was supposed to be nine holes but I forgot to film my second shot on the 4th 🤣 forgot how stressful it is setting up camera and trying to play golf. #golf by @grahambrowngolf

🏌️‍♂️ We asked @grahambrowngolf to name his five favourite Scottish golf courses he’s played - and there’s some world class choices…

1️⃣ St Andrews (Old Course)
🌍 7 🇬🇧 2 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 1

“The home of golf. The public watching you tee off on 1, and putt on 18. Walking the same fairways as all the greats who have played the game. The more you play it, the more you appreciate each hole.”

2️⃣ Royal Dornoch
🌍 15 🇬🇧 6 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 4

“Pure golf. Something magical about it. Can’t put it into words. The holes, the layout, the views by the beach. Stunning par 3s. Only played Royal Dornoch three times and it makes me feel complete.“

3️⃣ Trump International Aberdeen (Old)
🌍 77 🇬🇧 25 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 11

“There isn’t a bad hole on the course. The dunes are dramatic, the reveals are sensational and the condition is as good as you’ll get on this planet. Higher handicaps might struggle here. Tight fairways and not very forgiving off the tee.”

4️⃣ Dumbarnie
🇬🇧 46 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 19

“The newest course on the list. Does history account for how good a golf course is? I think it does to some extent, but Dumbarnie is modern golf at its finest.

Forgiving off the tee, all types of players will enjoy playing here and walk off with a smile on their face. Great clubhouse and great value for money. This course will only improve when the rough has matured.”

5️⃣ Muirfield
🌎 10 🇬🇧 4 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 2

“Tradition, history and architecturally perfect. Two loops of nine clockwise and anti-clockwise. Every hole is in a different direction so you’re trying to fight the wind.

Sneaky fast greens in the summer can make a fool of most players, myself included! Clubhouse is like stepping back in time, jacket and tie required for lunch. Not cheap but bucket-list golf.” by @grahambrowngolf

2025 Recap 🍿

Tough start to the year with Sammy's leg injury debacle. Four months of sideline watching wasn't fun, but glad he's back on his feet! Golf was non-existent, especially with gear that wasn't mine. Huge shoutout to @thomascraig_00 at @forthviewgolfrange for helping me get fitted with proper clubs.
Then life happened – bucket list golfing in Scotland courtesy of my mate @reubenvalles, and an eagle at Muirfield that still gives me goosebumps. Couple of epic 40th birthday golf trips with the lads – Trump Aberdeen, Loch Lomond, Spain, and Machrie.

Highlights
Shooting lever par at Glenbervie
Eagle 17th at Muirfield
Eagle 8th at Glenbervie
First tee time on the old course for 100th Town Match
Filmed my first round of golf
Injury free golf season
Playing golf with friends and making new friends on the course

100th R&A Town Match, The Old Course, St Andrews
6:40am Holes 15-18 @petercouhig and I foursomes vs R&A

VICTORY! Little blimp on 15 but we were cruising by then. 3n1 victory, although Pete nearly put us in the road hole bunker! His reaction is a belter. Also the video of the worst ever photo taken on the swilcan bridge and what round of links would not be complete without a 50 yard putter approach from Pete on 18!

I hope you enjoyed my first course vlog! It’s not as easy as everyone makes it out to be. I need to record closer with my putting and editing sucks! Comments/feedback would amazing… voiceover?

100th R&A Town Match, The Old Course, St Andrews
6:40am Holes 13-15 @petercouhig and I foursomes vs R&A

VIBES ARE HIGH! 3 pars, 3 holes won, 2 long range putts made, 1 unbelievable recovery 7 wood from the gorse! “One of the best shots I’ve ever seen on the old course” was the cry from Pete and our opponent. 202 yards the plan was to chip out… Pete said I could get a wood on it? Rodger that!

100th R&A Town Match, The Old Course, St Andrews
6:40am Holes 10-12 @petercouhig and I foursomes vs R&A

Some horrific drives from me but we managed two pars and a bogie. Tied 10, lost 11 to par and won 12.

100th R&A Town Match, The Old Course, St Andrews
6:40am Holes 7-9 @petercouhig and I foursomes vs R&A

The bogie train continues on 7 and 8. Poor approach shots from me (bloody muira irons) and we were slowly losing our match. Awesome driving from Pete though!
