Looking forward to welcoming TWO SHELL + Nautiluss and Phialefti this Friday presented by Standard Time x Not Dead Yet!

Two Shell are British electronic music’s great enigmas - a duo who built their reputation on concealment, wit, and refusing to play by the industry’s rules. For years, the conversation centered on mystery, but that’s beginning to shift. The duo are now in the midst of a personal and creative shift, moving toward a renewed sense of presence and openness.

Where they once kept themselves entirely guarded, Two Shell have started to loosen their grip on the mythology, appearing publicly as themselves and engaging more directly with fans. Beneath the games and misdirection, their core belief remains simple - that music, at its best, doesn’t need to be solved, only felt.

Kicking off the night, local underground stalwart Nautiluss (aka HEADRUSHH), whose track “Wifi Oasis” featured on the first-ever Two Shell DJ Mix (ɪᴍᴘᴀᴄᴛ21, 2020), will warm up the room with a voyage straight through the veins of the Hardcore Continuum. Expect everything from Bleep and UK Hardcore to Jungle, UKG, Grime, UK Funky, Bassline and Dubstep, alongside a cameo from Phialefti, a rising Toronto talent he’s been crafting music with for the past 15 months.

Tickets now available - link in Standard Time’s bio.

NEXT SATURDAY - JAN 24

While other people are busy building cold, grey concrete bunkers, Æther is investing in the Euphoria Sector. We are issuing a formal decree: The austerity ends now. We are bringing back the wiggle, the lift, and the undeniable urge to behave unprofessionally.

@nautiluss.forever and I cordially invite you to join us at @bambistoronto for Æther next week. If you miss it, you’ll be stuck in a dark room listening to a metronome. And that is a loss you simply cannot afford.

FRIDAY - AUG 15
Headrushh is the latest alias from Montréal native Graham Douglas Bertie @nautiluss.forever, whom has previously released a slew of records as Nautiluss, Pyramid Lake as well as being one half of a fairly infamous rave rap duo in the late aughts. His music has been released on many illustrious labels such as Ghostly, Ninja Tune, Hemlock and Turbo to name but a few. He’s also performed in many iconic clubs such as Traouw, Berghain and Corsica Studios as well as respected festivals such as Dour, Melt, Bass Coast and MUTEK.

His debut EP ‘We Share The Same Air’ is out now on prog legend and fellow Canadian Jex Opolis’ recently launched Integration Recordings. It explores the mystical intersection between transcendental states and his nostalgia for his youth as an innocent but curious raver in the warehouses of Montreal suburbs.

Join Graham and the IOU crew @rabzziii and @snickharrison in the depths of the @bambistoronto basement to celebrate the first Headrushh release.

Doors at 10 - limited early bird tickets now available on RA, more at the door. by @grahamdouglasbertie
