Our new music playlist ‘Fodder’ is back. Featuring 20-40 new tracks that we have been listening to (and think you should know). Updated regularly so follow on Spotify or tidal to keep up to date (link is in our bio). Here’s a few tracks we’ve been listening to on repeat 👉 LA based band @untitledhalo has been making waves in the indie scene. With their debut full length releasing via @dirtyhit next month, the collection of singles the band have released over the past few months prove that they’re worth the hype. This track has been lodged in the back of my mind over the past month. The balanced multi-vocals, driving guitars and restrain and release is so satisfying. Keep an eye out for this bands’ highly anticipated record coming soon. New Zealand’s @awning_band are a recent discovery but their latest track Little Green Book has kept them high on the rotation list over the past 2 weeks. The most recent signing announced from US label @w1nspear - if this track is a sign of things to come from the band, we are buying in. Greg Freeman ( @oldgraig ) returned with another stellar record at the start of this month. He’s one of our favourite songwriters at the moment, and this track is a perfect showcase of what he’s capable of. The jagged song form, sprawling dual guitars and emotive vocals in Cahokia opens the record perfectly. Reminiscent of Pavement while completely standing on his own legs - Greg Freeman is an artist to be across, and his latest record will be sitting high on our album of the year list. Dublin’s @madrasalach_ are creating a generational wave of new found appreciation for Irish Folk. The 6-piece band are one of Ireland’s rising voices and have been paving the way for a whole new scene. The excitement surrounding Madra Salach stems from their powerful live performances, raw songwriting and their absolute genuinity. After a year of meteoric rise and new found global appreciation ’Ribbon Factory’ sees the band open the next chapter. The track feels like a natural development from previous releases, with the bands’ live performances influencing the sound and production of this new single.
