The lower lobby was just one of the many projects Grand Vision Foundation initiated to help restore San Pedro’s historic Warner Grand Theater. We can’t wait for it to reopen and bring our community together once more!

🀄 THREE FOR THREE! SOLD OUT AGAIN!

Saigon Oi is doing something special in downtown San Pedro!

What started as a Mahjong Social at this family-owned Vietnamese restaurant has become so popular that its third SOLD-OUT event expanded across the street to the Grand Annex!

Mahjong, music, food, cocktails, and a room full of people coming together for a great night out.

Saigon Oi is bringing a whole new energy to downtown San Pedro, celebrating Asian culture, building community, and proving that First Thursday isn’t the only night to experience the downtown vibe!

And here’s the good news: They’re planning to make Mahjong Social a MONTHLY event!

Downtown San Pedro just keeps getting cooler. 🔥 by @grandannex

SAN PEDRO MAHJONG SOCIAL ROUND 3 at the Grand Annex!
Music + dinner + lesson + open play and giveaways 🀄️
One of the things I love most about Mahjong Social is seeing people come together, meet new faces, learn something new, and have a good time. That’s what I wanted to bring to our community when we started this.
And now we’re teaming up with @grandannex to bring you our next one!
Could you play mahjong on your phone for free? Sure. But can your phone give you dinner buffet by Saigon Ơi, drinks, a DJ spinning 90’s rnb/ oldies on vinyl, raffle prizes, and a room full of people to play with? Didn’t think so. 😉

Join us THIS Friday, October 16, from 5–9 PM at the Grand Annex for a night of mahjong, food, drinks (including cocktails from Grand Annex), a lesson, and open play for beginners and intermediate players.

If you came to the last one, you already know. If you missed it, this is your sign.

This one WILL sell out. Don’t wait until you’re watching everyone else’s recap video. 👀 TICKETS IN BIO.

Our October First Thursday Arts Saloon was a hit! Art of the Annex: From the Collection of Liz Schindler Johnson showcased a variety of works, presented alongside fINdings Art Center. From local artists to long-time friends, the Annex was filled with gorgeous pieces across many mediums. As guests enjoyed the art and interacted with the artists themselves, Chris and Emily Huff warmed the room with their live music. What a great way to start Autumn off!

📸 Thank you @arturo_freelancerphoto for these incredible pictures.

We are deeply grateful for the generosity of the US Bank Foundation, who have given us a grant to support Grand Vision’s Meet the Music program. Their support will help children across the LA Harbor area access the holistic benefits of music education and be able to experience culture, belonging, and creativity through music.
