Ultra Runner @nobody_cares_run_faster_eca Team 2025

The Cherokee 70k Ultra is one of the most hardest races that I've ever done. It challenged me to push through the difficult moments and to keep telling myself that I can't give up. It was awesome to run this race with my wonderful friend Brittany Williams we shared highs and lows on the trail and pushed each other to keep going even if we was in the pain cave. Going into this race I knew that I didn't have alot of elevation training but I had alot of heat training and that helped out alot for this race. The corse is beautiful with the view from Buck Bald I could have stayed up there forever with a view like that. Not to mention they had my favorite thing watermelon. On the trail Brittany and I got stung by a wasps while on the trail let's just say that made it extremely challenging and hurt so bad we had to take a benadryl. When we got to Smithfield we knew that we was doing good finally was able to calm down from the wasp sting and focus on getting to Wauchessi and get to the top and get back down so we can get back to town. On the service road getting in to town it was dark into the night I was shinning my headlamp around at my feet and there was a copperhead very close to mine and Brittany's feet so we started to shuffle because we started to get closer to the last aid station we decided to not stop to just keep on going to get into town. Those last miles getting into town felt like and eternity. My feet were so tired and felt like I was walking on pins and needles. Not to mention I had some bad blisters on my heels that was very painful to just run much less walk on. I knew that I came to this race determined to finish what I started. I might not have been fast and I might not have placed, but what matters to me is that I didn't give up, pushed through the pain when it got hard. The best thing is Brittany, and I finished together. Where do I begin, I've been a huge fan of @yellowrunner since I discovered the world of ultra running three years ago. Her irrepressible enthusiasm and joy were infectious, and I found myself wanting to embody those qualities, too. When I read her book, I was deeply inspired by her remarkable story and her ability to stay grounded despite the challenges she's faced. Her message of choosing strength and resilience really resonated with me, and I felt motivated to take on her mobility workout challenge. I was thrilled to discover I was one of the top winners, and I was overjoyed to learn she'd be speaking in Chattanooga. Thanks to a generous stranger, I was able to score tickets to the event and even join a group run with Sally. Meeting her was an absolute dream come true – she's every bit as warm, genuine, and inspiring as I'd imagined. I'm deeply grateful for her unwavering support and encouragement, and I look forward to continuing to draw inspiration from her incredible journey. @mobampin, we missed you too!

Being part of this remarkable group of runners has been a life-changing experience for me, and I feel grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive and inspiring community. The camaraderie and support we share, both on and off the trail, is truly special, and I've been constantly amazed by the kindness, generosity, and encouragement that my fellow runners have shown me. As we welcome new members to the team, I'm excited to see our community continue to grow and thrive, and I'm confident that our collective passion and enthusiasm will create a positive and uplifting environment for everyone. It was amazing to see all these runners run this race this year, their determination and perseverance were truly inspiring. The one thing that I enjoy most of all is volunteering at races and helping cheer on runners, it's a great way to give back to the community and be a part of something special. I love seeing the smiles on the runners' faces as they cross the finish line, it's a moment of pure joy and accomplishment. MASSIVE SHOUTOUT to the legend, @grant_tasha 🤘
She just absolutely CRUSHED her second 100-mile race at the Virginia Trail Running Festival, and yeah... she ran the entire thing #BlisterFree thanks to Friction Prescription.

This is pure, unadulterated grit. Tasha didn't just survive 100 miles, she OWNED them. That's what we mean by CHAOS TESTED. RUNNER APPROVED.

This weekend has been an unforgettable experience with my incredible teammates at East Coast Adventures. Witnessing them conquer the challenging trail, drawing on their mental and physical strength to overcome obstacles, and persevering through the exhaustion and pain that accompanies running 100 miles has been truly inspiring. It's incredible to think that you're 20 years old. Time flies, and life has been a blessing with her in my life. I admire her determination and everything she does.
